Brandy's Success Diary

Thank you Michelle, Lisa, Cinderelly, Shandy, Karl, and JZ for stopping in a checking up on me. I have just had a CRAZY week. I've been doing well eating, and exercising, but the weight is going along slowly. I haven't been on for a while because I've been going from my mom's house, to my dad's house, to home for cleaning, to the mall and stores for shopping for dan's 21st birthday today.... and its just all been CRAZY.

I am still keeping my chin up, and my calories have been right in track, but food isn't the BEST that I could do. Which is probably why my weight isn't moving along as fast as I want it to.

I really realize that I cannot leave this forum for more than a day, or else my motivation seems to slip away.

Tonight we are going to a BBQ restaurant for Dan's birthday. I will get BBQ chicken with veggies. And I know the restaurant portions are HUGE, so I will only eat half, and save half for another meal. I haven't done the 30 day shred in a while, and I'm disappointed in myself for that. But I know I can pick it back up again. I have been going on walks mainly. Walks have helped me clear my mind, and I've needed that a lot lately.

I will be getting back to everyone to everyone's diaries tonight and tomorrow. PROMISE. /

And thank you to everyone again for checking up on me, I appreciate that I have a strong support system here.

Ok, so I am totally motivated, and I am going to make exercise a main part of my hobbies now. I know it isn't hard, and its better than just sitting around. I'm in a pretty good mood. Weather is aweful, I'm sick of the snow and freezing cold not letting me outside to go jogging. I am seriously lacking exercise, which means I need to kick my own ass these next 2 days to get up to the 4 hours this week. I will be doing an assortment of DVD's and weight training exercises.

A had a grilled cheese sandwich for breakfast.
I will have a some chicken for lunch, hopefully with some veggies if I can find some in the house.
My lunch will probably a lunch/dinner... because I haven't really been hungry at night lately.

I am just seriously motivated, sick of the way I look and feel, and I want to get it off finally.

My first day back to school is Tuesday, this is my last semester- so I am going to give it all I got. I have been looking for something to concentrate on as a hobby... and until the weight is gone... Exercise is going to be my thing. I have been deciding whether to concentrate on my sewing, my drawing/art, my writing..... and I think the most important thing for me right now is to concentrate on my health. Then I will branch out into different aspects of my life.
 
hey Brandy-glad we are teamies, I remember you from a previous challenge before I fell off the wagon. HOpe all is welll.
 
oh wow, you havn't started school yet?? Last week was our 1st full week, I also went on the thurs. before that (1/8) Well, heres to a GREAT last semester!!!

I"m glad to hear you sound so motivated!!!! You can totally do this girl! Just believe in yourself!

Back to school in just 13 hours!! Its so weird that it will be my last semester!!!! I am excited in a way, new routine to get into, and I will definitely add exercise to that routine. I only lost 1 pound this week.... :( But TOM is coming tomorrow, so.... I have an explanation.

I am planning on starting a new weekly routine since school is starting tomorrow. I have certain activities and such that I do every single week, and when I didn't have plans I usually just sat around. But once I start getting busy, I want to stay busy... So I want to have a plan in mind.

30 day shred, yoga, and weight training are all included.... and the occasional other workout DVD.

Tomorrow I am going to wake up early to get some yoga into my schedule, School from 8 to 4; then my mom's house after school to watch The Biggest Loser 7. I will not let TOM ruin my plans this month. I need to stay on track!!!!

Bagels aren't all that bad with a low fat cream cheese. And I don't like to deprive myself of everything... just eat things in good portions, and in moderation. Thanks though. Don't remember the last time I posted about a bagel though....
 
new school semester is soo exciting, I always loved the start, then end depending LOL. Best of luck on last semester, what are you going to be?

Hey, I'm glad you've been doing well on your eating and exercise. Some exercise is better than none, and walking is still great!

I have been doing the 30 day shred, just not everyday. I had 2 exams last week, so my exercise was not nearly as much as the previous week and my eating was crappy a couple days cause of some celebrations, so last week wasn 't too good and I hope to do better this week. I'm just mentioning this because I too need to come on here to help keep the pace up and keep my motivation and cause of my exams and studying I wasn't on much, so I know whatcha mean!

Well, I hope this week goes better for the both of us! (Bringing our exercise back up and making better food choices). WOO! lol

Hope you have an amazing semester. Definitely enjoy it since it'll be your last. I always complain about school but I know I'll definitely miss it when I have to join the real world. :)

PS Did you watch Biggest Loser last week? Did you see when Daniel/David whichever one who went home.. did you see him scarf the hot dog and french fries? I was like UHH WTF DUDE. *CRIES*

I love my classes, because I get to cook and bake... which I LOVE TO DO. After graduation I will have an associates degree in applied science in Culinary Arts. I hope to be a pastry chef someday. I'm nervous to join the real world! Lol.

Yeah, I manage every month... but I hate the 2 days before, and the 1st day it is actually here. Mainly because my mood is all out of wack, and I am usually happy...but for those 3 days... I'm just angry a lot, and let everyone know that. rofl. :smilielol5: This month I have been REALLY pissy. And besides being mad at other people, I've been really angry with myself/ my body and how aweful I feel. I have felt sick, and a TON of heartburn! I know its probably my own fault....but it still pisses me off. hahaha.

This week has to go better for me. I really can't have any "down" weeks anymore... I'm just sick of it. I guess that goes with the anger with myself that I've been feeling because of TOM (as I mentioned above to Tammy)... It is ridiculous that I have made bad decisions, when good ones are sitting in front of me. Ya know?? I need to get back on the 30 day shred. It made me feel great! We can do this together, T!

Final semester... for me its a combination of fear and pride. Yeah, I saw the BL... Daniel is the one that stayed because he was the heaviest contestant. Eating hot dogs freaks me out when I think about it... because it is just.... such an UNNATURAL meat. lol. Does that even make sense? I don't know... it does to me. I can't wait to see what they all look like at the finally. Its hard to imagine what they will look like when they are thin. *Excited!*
