Great job limiting yourself to just half. I've been told moderation is the key to success with this. I'm utterly and completely incapable of moderation, so I just workout like a fiend when I eat more than I should :D Glad you were able to pick up some indoor workout options. It's always a good idea to have something on hand to do if the weather(or god knows what causes the gym to close) won't allow you to do anything else.
I'm going to look on amazon tonight and see if I can find that 30 day shred you keep going on about. ;) see if I can't get it out here soon enough to help me kick the last bit of weight before Matt gets back....

YES! Check it out shandy! I highly recommend it for a high intensity butt-kicking!
 
Let me know how those BL dvd's go! I've been looking into getting the two disc set with cardio max and strength but I need some more personal reviews. :)

Hey there! The cardio max is awesome! It will really work you out! I didn't buy the Power Sculpt just because I couldn't find it, but I think you should definitely get them!
 
I had another great day! I just joined the 6 week challenge that Blancita is hosting, and I can't wait for it to start! Tonight Shandy, Renee and myself met up and ended up working out "together" for an hour. We sort of made a mutual agreement that we would go exercise for an hour and then come back and check in. It was great motivation for me to really push myself. I cannot wait to weigh in on Tuesday. I think everyone will be in for quite a big surprise! lol. Well, not like anyone else really cares.. but I will be ecstatic enough for everyone.

I have a goal tomorrow to do Every one of my Biggest Loser DVDs. So that includes the following:

*The 30 Day Shred- 30 minutes
* The Biggest Loser Workout Cardio Max- 30 minutes
* The Biggest Loser Workout Boot Camp- 30 minutes
and
*The Biggest Loser Workout Weight Loss Yoga.. 30 to 45 minutes.

I know I can do that! I am home alone all day because Dan has to work a double unfortunately. So I might as well get my exercise in!

Not so much the cardio one, cause I can do that on the elliptical my sis has, or at the gym, but moreso the weight ones cause when it comes to weights I don't know what to do when, ya know?

Also, I'm glad you were able to portion out your food. It's ok to have some tasty stuff that's not the healthiest every once in a while as long as you have a proper portion of it which is what you did and that's awesome!

Thanks Christina! I love my dvd's LOL. Especially during these cold winter months when I can't go outside!

Thanks Michelle! I feel like I just bolted from the starting line fitness wise, this time around. I mean... I just feel like everything I am doing is normal... and better yet.. that it is fun. I love the BL. I feel so stupid because I talk about it so much. lol.
 
Oh I'll be ecstacic right along with you Brandy. I'm really looking forward to the 6 week challenge we all signed up for. so far our team looks pretty solid. we've got a couple new people signing up with us(can't remember who just now) so we should have a pretty good time with it.
I had an absolute blast working out "with" you. It was a great way to keep me pushing myself as hard as possible through both videos. I think if we can keep it up like this we'll both do great. you're off to a fantastic start already.
Good luck doing all those dvds in one day. I'd be crippled by the end of it I'm sure. :D of course I'm the one that gets her a$$ kicked by my gma's workout. :svengo:

I've eaten healthy- very healthy.. for the past 4 days, and I already feel great about how I look. I have lost quite a bit of weight, I will reveal a total on Tuesdaay... lol. I have put a lot of hard work into it, and am very proud of myself. I know I will get the results I am looking for if I can keep this up. I don't think I've lost enough for other people to tell... actually, I'm positive of it. But I feel stronger and healthier already. I have an idea of a meal plan for myself today, so no sliding off track. I have a TON of working out to do, as well as a few other things outside the weight loss department that I am trying to concentrate on as well. So a long day ahead and I will post how awesome my day goes later on.
 
I am just NOT into it today. I have such little motivation. It really sucks. I did 20 minutes worth of exercise of the 30 day shred. I didn't finish the last few. I hate giving up. My shins were hurting so badly that I decided to just rest it. I can always do more later tonight.

Its weird how much I rely on Dan being near me to keep me happy. I am just miserable feeling without him here with me. He always makes me feel better. I miss being able to talk to him. And he's only working a double shift. I literally want to do NOTHING. I don't want to work out, I don't want to eat, I don't want to be on the computer- even though I am. I just want to lay here until I hear from him. I'm so pathetic. lol.

Well, I'm going to go muster up some motivation to do SOMETHING else.
 
It sucks sometimes when you can't finish your workout, but it's probably better you stopped. Forcing through the pain can sometimes just end up hurting you. :) Still though, good job on doing what you could!

Awww, that sucks you feel that way. I hope that you're feeling better by now!

I know you miss him and it makes it unmotivating to do anything but you can think of exercise as a way of passing the time, and it will go quicker than just doing nothing. Also, you can think of it as doing it for him, so that you will be healthy and being healthy will benefit not only you but him as well.
 
Don't focus on what you couldn't do!! Focus on what you did and what you have done and the mysterious weight that has just dropped off (but you won't tell us yet!) lol. Challenges are exciting and it sounds like you have such a good group around you! Sorry you missed Dan so much. I do the same with my son when he goes to his dad's. I just don't feel like myself and I am not as motivated with out him. Sort of like a void. I have to get past that though because it ruins time I have with my husband that is "child-free" and there won't be much of that time after the baby comes. Try your best to pick yourself up and maybe change tactics on that day... if going gung ho doesn't work then do something enjoyable to keep your brain off him not being around:) but it's night so he's back!:D ah love ain't it grande:D lol Have a good night and good luck tomorrow!
 
Just wanted to let everyone know I will not be around for most the week.

My uncle died at 6pm last night from a massive heart attack at 46 years old I believe. I found out at 8 pm. I will be busy with family and such, so I will update for the challenge I am in. But I won't be around chat, or updating all that often. Until all commotion and chaos has settled.
 
Oh how awful!! I am so very sorry to hear that! What a young age! :( My condolences to you and your family.
 
I'm sooo sorry to hear about that. I hope you and your family will be ok.

I'm so impressed with you still doing the challenge even though you have a lot going on at the moment. BTW, I got on Team 2, so I'll be here for you whether it's about the challenge, or life in general, just post me :)
