I swear I have 3 different scales and all 3 weigh a different weight so I stick with the 1 I have been using since I was 255 it is nice to me lol.
I also go by how my clothes fit thats how I can usually tell I am putting it back on or losing lots and my belt goes over another knotch.

Have fun with that DDR. I have never tried it & don't have any gaming systems so doubt I will anytime soon. Glad you are into it enough to do it for hours. Always good to get lost in doing something fun that also burns calories! :)

& Niapage...girl...why in the world do you own THREE scales? That would drive me nutso! Time to break out the bat & take it to the field Office Space style!

Hey everyone! I've been doing good with my fiber.. i just feel like I'm eating a lot.. so I am going to buy a few fiber one bars. Or whatever they are called... to last me the rest of the week. Just to help me out.

i'll post more later on and visit all of your diaries!! sorry I haven't in a few days!
 
I don't think I'd ever be fly enough for DDR...:D

There were some kids doing it at the mall a few weeks ago, and I swear they looked like they were training for Riverdance or something.
 
I am on a mission today to do 3 hours of exercise all together.

Yesterday was a HORRIBLE DAY for me. I ate so much CRAP that made me so sick. I regret it... the scale went up 3 lbs this morning!! But I won't do it again ANY time soon.

I went to the store last night and bought lots of fruits, veggies, and yogurt for today.

I am going to go on the walk to the park today with my Ipod, and then play DDR, and then do a bunch of strength exercises.

Menu for today in no particular order:

Chicken patty
2 yogurts
Lots of celery
fruit cup
PB sandwich
Lots of water

I bought YUMMMY plums, but they aren't ripe. :(

Yeah... thats really all for now. I'll update later with what I actually accomplished.
 
Tomorrow is already set in my mind-

Wake up at 8:00 am. Put on my pedometer.
Breakfast: 1 yogurt (strawberry Kiwi)
Exercise: Walk to the park and back. Probably 90 minutes.( 9 am to 10:30 am)
Lunch: PB & J with 2 stalks of celery (11 am)
Work: 1-5 at the bakery.
Exercise: 1 hour of DDR
Dinner: Spaghetti
Exercise: 30 minutes of strength training.
Snacks throughout the day: Caramel Rice Cakes.
Night time snack: 1/2 bag of popcorn with Danny.

And a fiber one bar. I might make adjustments to ensure my fiber intake as I did today. But thats 3 hours of exercise. Today I only got 30 minutes of DDR. But at least its something!!! I haven't had excellent days either yesterday or today. But... the rest of the week will have to kick ass to ensure lots of weight loss. I don't want to get taken off my challenge. I need it.

Well, I want to push, and push hard. Because I want to keep losing AT LEAST my 1.2 lbs per week. So far this week... I haven't lost anything! That will change!

I"m going to continue watching the BIGGEST LOSER. Then I think I will go read in bed.

Great move using a shopping trip for good food to pivot yourself back to the right direction. Your day looks like something to look forward to. :)
 
That looks like a great plan. I always feel so much better when I have things planned out. I hate guessing about what I am going to do, I am also so much more productive and less likely to make bad choices when I have a plan.

I used to plan out what we were going to eat 3 weeks in advance. I should start doing it again because things were much easier when I did that. No wondering "what are we having tonight?" And it made my trips to the grocery store a lot faster!

Planning is a great thing, everything is looks more manageable when it's planned.

Hey everyone. I have been doing well on my fiber. But I just went down .4 lbs this week. But my exercise is maxed... I have been eating poorly and trying to get in fiber... so not very significant this week. Next week will be better. I'm already planning on walking almost all day tomorrow.

Plums for breakfast, Yogurt for lunch, no clue for dinner.

2 hour walk in the morning. then 1 hour walk in the afternoon. DDR for 30 minutes, and 15 minutes of strength training. Thats my goal for tomorrow. I have to whole day off, so it will be a blast. And besides exercise, I just want to read a bunch. I love to read.
 
Today I walked around the mall for 2 hours. But I can't really count that for exercise. But I've gotten in lots of fruit. Mainly plums. YUMMM.

I need a chance to catch up on everyone's journals. i will definitely do that tomorrow. I've been reading with all my spare time lately.

Its supposed to be really cold tomorrow, but I am going to go on a walk, and play DDR for a little while hopefully.

Food is scare in my house right now, and I have no money, so it will be nothing major for meals. Yogurt, PB&J, Ramen noodles... I don't know too much else that we have in the house.

I'm lucky that I weighed in yesterday for my challenge. This morning I was up 4 lbs because of Dan's bday and the excessive eating I was doing!! But its only the first day of the week, so I am going to keep working my butt of until I get down to at LEAST 209.4 to stay on my schedule. I can do it easily. I just have to stay determined, and work really hard. No problems there! I want to stay on my schedule so I can get to my goal weight!!

You're doing really well in the challenge. I'm glad you're finding it helpful. You have been an exercise machine the last few days! I'm impresed. Don't overdo it, though. :)

Being a poor college student sucks, doesn't it? I remember those days. Ramen noodles are so dirt cheap, it's no surprise they are eaten in large quantities by college students. :D Do you pay attention to the sales at the supermarket? I manage to save tons of money every week by keeping the vast majority of my purchases sale items.
 
My food has been well today. A lot better then I have been the past few days. I had a 1/2 sandwich that I made by myself. It had 2 slices of toast, 1 egg, 1 slice of american cheese, 2 sausage patties, and 3 slices of bacon. OMG. It was great. I usually hate eggs. But I only ate 1/2 of it, and gave the other half to Danny. I wasn't really in the mood for it.

Then for lunch... I had a chicken patty sandwich, and a package of ramen noodles. YUMMM.

Oh, and 1 cup of milk this morning as well. I felt I needed a bit of dairy because I wasn't having any yogurt today.

I'm not 100% sure what I am having for dinner. I'm thinking chicken noodle soup, and a grilled cheese sandwich. I definitely have to calorie room, and room for everything else.

Tomorrow is going to be a great day for exercise because Dan is going to work, so he won't be using the xbox. I'll be able to play DDR!!! I haven't been able to in days! I've been trying to substitute with the ski-machine (the only exercise equipment that counts as cardio that this house has.) But it bores me so bad. Its like the second I get on it... I count every second until I have reached my goal. Every second goes by like a year. Its horrible! And its far too dark/cold to go on many walks. DDR tomorrow. Seriously.. I will do it for hours.
 
I have the day to myself while Dan is at work. So I can exercise a lot.

I just ate breakfast. I had 1/2 sandwich again. But it was 1 slice of bread, 3 strips of microwavable bacon, and 1 slice of american cheese.

I need time to plan out the rest of my day still...

I haven't lost that weight I gained after weigh-in next week. UGH. But I will. I will get down to 209.4 lbs. I just have to work hard.
 
Running totals for today: 952 calories, 44.7 fat, 99.8 carbs, and 37.8 protein.

I fell asleep so my workout hasn't happened YET.

I am going to finish the show that I'm watching. Then I'm going to clean my hamster's cage. Then DDR.

Then grocery shopping tonight. I've already made my list. And it has plenty of fruits and veggies.
 
I'm sure you'll lose those pounds. You're working hard and controlling your food, so you'll get where you want to be. Don't give up!

I did very well with food today. I didn't go grocery shopping, but I just filled myself to the top with food, and took my shower. My belly is full- so it will be easy to stick to my list when grocery shopping. :)

Here's what I've eaten so far:

Breakfast: Bacon and cheese sandwich. (2 slices wheat bread, 1 slice American cheese, and 4 slices of microwavable bacon.)

Lunch: 99% fat free strawberry kiwi yogurt. YUMM.

Dinner: 1 grilled cheese sandwich, and a can of Chicken Noodle Soup. A serving was only 1/2 the container...but I wanted all of it. I thought about having Ramen instead because the Chicken Noodle Soup would be hard to only have 1/2 (it was in a can, and I don't have any containers to save it in) then I realized that there is way more calories in ramen then the whole container of soup.

Totals so far: 1112 calories, 43.2 g of fat, 120.2 carbs, and 57.8 g of protein.

I am going to get ready, and then go grocery shopping when my stomach is still full.
