That's what training is for and if I can do it you certainly can! I was 210lbs when I started training and I hadn't exercised in like 3 or 4 months. I am doing fine. *grumble* You will do fine as long as you stick to training and don't wait until the last minute. Your mom shouldn't say that to you. It's just negative and you know how I feel about that kind of talk
lol You will do well and we will cheer you on
and in the end both you and I will have race t-shirts and have run a 5K!!!
