Hello everyone. A little about us:
I've been overweight since I was 11. After losing a parent, I turned to food for comfort. In hindsight... I probably should have used something a little less dangerous! My current weight is 352 pounds. This is definitely the most I have ever weighed. And it is slowly going up. I have horrible eating and exercise habits. My weight is completely my fault, and I want to get it under control before it affects my life any more than it already has.
Ilene was overweight as a child before developing Bulimia. She was down to 80 pounds at the age of 16 before seeking treatment, and after leveling out at 130 pounds, she has gained weight to a current weight of 225 pounds. Though I still think she is beautiful, we are both uncomfortable with our appearance and we are ready for a lifestyle change.
I guess I'll start this diary from this point on. In an hour or so we will be going to the gym (we have planet fitness memberships) and I will update the diary with our exact work out when I get home.
What I think our biggest problem is... would be our inability to plan our meals correctly. We eat out A LOT. We have trouble finding healthy foods and making healthy meals. Any kind of advice would be awesome.
