I've been lurking around on this site for a while now and it has really helped me loads so the other day i decided to join and now have some before and durings pics of myself up. Before we get to that though i just wanted to let you guys and gals know that i'm a 19 year old guy who had started his weight loss journey alone...that changed real quick though when my family saw that i had the determination to lose this weight so now even if i've only instilled the notion of thinking before they eat something then i feel like i've accomplished something at least...
It's refreshing to find people though that know what you're going through and that's what i've found on here through reading logs and looking at the transformations, it has really made me conscious of my health and what I can...no need to do to get it in order.
Now I have lost 2 pant sizes(was a 44 and can now fit into a 40!) and I watch what I eat. I thought that all that stuff was hard before but now i realized that the hard part is sticking to it. I mean i'm not ultra hardcore on my diet but i have cut out most if not all unnecessary calories and i learned that if i mess up a little then its okay, just realize your mistakes and strive not to do them again. Also i quit smoking in January and i had heard time and time again that i would gain more weight and i didn't want to push over the 300 mark.
Anyways though i just wanted to come on here and start this log to let you guys keep up with my progress and hope you can find some inspiration out of it like i have found out of the many stories i have heard and seen on here.
