Well, I'm a guy and I happen to have a larger butt than I would like. What are some exercises I could do to trim that down a little more? Also, would you be able to explain to me what the exercises are, because it's something I haven't really worked with before.
 
You can not spot reduce any one area by any grouping of exercises. In order to make any part of your body smaller you need to reduce overall body fat. If your body tends to store more fat in this region than others you stand of good chance of this being the first area you begin to reduce.

yeah, spot reduction is a myth. simply put, there is no such thing. I'm not too sure if exercises are the way to go to reduce the ass, seeing as it is a muscle and all, and exercises tend to increase the size of muscle. although in theory you could possibly do ALOT for it and overtrain it to the point that you loose muscle mass, but I would suggest not even trying that seein how closely related you hams and glutes are. Cardio seems to be the only option, unfortunately, in the grand scheme of things, the fat around your midsection and ass and thighs will likely be the last to go, so it could take alot of cardio. I would suggest, as much as i hate this, the stationary bike. working the muscles in your legs and but might increase your chances of loosing the weight in the places you want.

Yea, that's the answer I thought I was going to get, hehe. I'm a pretty good runner, do a lot of cardio, jump roping, all of that, so I think there isn't a whole lot I can do besides just tone it up a little and more cardio, hehe. I'm not real concerned about it because it does give me a lot of leg strength. I also noticed that a lot of body builders, the ones that compete, have larger glutes, probably because they need them to be muscular and look good too, hehe who knows. Thanks for all the advice guys.
