Here is the Book Club poll. See for previous discussion leading to this point.

The books are:
The Virgin Suicides, by Jeffrey Eugenides.
See from amazon.com.

As For Me and My House, by Sinclair Ross.

We Need to Talk About Kevin, by Lionel Shriver.

There were a couple of other books mentioned, but these three were ones I thought people were most interested in.

Edit: I set the poll to be open for 4 days. We can cut it off early too..Kallie, you said you were going to get books tomorrow night, yes?

What time zone is that? I'm in pacific. I think maybe that's like 3 pm here. Not sure. Why don't you just check the poll before you leave and which ever one has the most, post the winner and get that book?

Sure that works for me....I'm central.

I'm hoping i can find a used copy of whatever book we decide on...I have to go buy school textbooks and right now I'm sitting at about 425 dollars in text to buy with two more classes worth of books on top of that to get.

I always order them for cheap from people on amazon. I usually end up taking classes with books that are super expensive. I can't always get them used...but I usually can. Buying books from the school bookstore is such a rip off.

you can get a copy of the virgin suicides - it's the text version so you can either kill a few trees and print it out- or read it online...

There's a bunch of other books at theas well

I figured that would be the book that won but I forgot to pick it up. I'm going to go by some used book stores to check and see if they've got a copy or my library.

Alright, our library's open tomorrow, so I'll see if they have it. If not, I can order it through inter-library loan, that'll take a few days.

Ok. The poll is closed. Post when you've got your copy (virgin suicides) and have started reading, then we can start discussions. Yay!

I'll take out a copy from the library this weekend. I need good book!!

Maybe we should wait until we're all at the same place to discuss, so there are no spoilers?!

Just a thought... eg, Everyone should have read up to chapter XX by XX.XX.XX for discussion?!

:D
