bodyweighted exercises

when these become to easy would it be benificital to do them slow with a pause. for example press up/ push up 5 seconds to go down and when ur nose is touching the floor hold that position for 5 seconds then take another 5 seconds to slowly go back to the starting point?
 
Absolutly it would be beneficial. Anything that adds variety and forces the muscles to work alittle differently will give some benefit.
 
depends on your goal, the rule of thumb is that the lift should be as fast as possible, the concentric (if thats how its spelled?) part of the movement, but you can lower slowly. though some BW exersices are hard to balance and you need to do them slow.
