What we're really talking about is a wonderful day when no one diets. I mean, why else would they call it Thanksgiving.

With the end of week 12 came my first step backwards which was honestly expected with the Thanksgiving feasts and the overindulgence of food and drink for the big Ohio State game. I ended up gaining 4.4 pounds for the week weighing in at 264.4 making my total loss 44.2 lbs. I know that these kind of set backs will happen and will not let them discourage me after all just because I am dieting does mean I can't enjoy life and let go from time to time. With that being said I have already lost that turkey weight and back in the 250's so week 13 is starting off good. The first 3 months have produced some amazing results and I am happy with them. But starting with week 13 I am changing things up a bit to throw my body a curve ball and see how that goes. It looks like my work schedule is going to change again. if so I will definitely get more gym time in. I will be posting my results weekly to still keep track of how things are going. Took these pics this morning to see the difference from 3 months of eating clean.

That's some solid progress in the pictures! That 4.4 pound gain was likely mostly water and gut filling: easy to gain, easy to lose.

Week 13 is over and it got me back on track with a 5 lb drop for the week.. I didn't feel like I dieted though. My meals were mainly fruit in the morning and some summer sausage and cheese with olives for lunch and what ever for dinner and even desert and a drink or 2. It seemed to work for that week. This morning the scale came in at 259.4, that got me back to where I was before my gains in week 12. So after 13 weeks my total loss is 49.2 lbs. I am hoping to loose another 20 lbs by the time we go on vacation, so I will be more disciplined for my evening meals to get to where I want to be by the end of January. Also week 14 starts the beginning of a new work schedule so with less work I should get in more time at the gym. So I am looking forward to another productive week as I keep working my way towards my goal.

14 weeks done and I came in at 257.4 lbs that is a 2 pound loss for the week bringing my total to 51.2 pounds. I have been adding some of the things back into my diet that I cut out when I first started this journey. But I have been eating them in moderation and still dropping weight, all be it more slowly and I am okay with that. All in all still going good and staying motivated and looking forward to what week 15 brings.

That is really amazing, an average of almost 4 lbs per week. Even if you "slow" to 1 or 2 lbs a week its still pretty amazing. Good for you!

Hey Bob, how goes the battle?

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!
