blueberry_twist weight loss Dairy

What time do you sleep ? Cutting out food after 8 is such a generic myth for weight loss... Carbs shouldn't be overdone, but some protein with some healthy fats to stop your body starving while you sleep is never bad :)

Pinkroses is right -it's the total calories consumed in a day that matter -not when you eat them... are you recording all your calories for the day - and weighing and measuring everything? eyeballing things aren't always good estimations of portion sizes.

Are you also keeping track of fiber and sodium -low on fiber can and too much sodium both can cause bloating...

How much sleep are you getting a night? that can be a factor as well in weight loss...

6hours awake with no food, with a reccomended 8 hours sleep, that's 14hours without nutrition. If you're really worried, stop eating an hour before going to bed, but keep eating after 8!

Also, someone who weighs over 300 pounds should not be eating so few calories. I know that you are trying to lose weight, but even at 184 pounds, I still eat no less than 1800 plus working out. And I still lose weight (it's when I'm not exercising or watching what I eat that nothing happens). My guess is that you put your body into starvation mode. With the cut in calories and swimming laps plus hiking trails, my estimation is that your body thinks there's a famine (although I should say I am no psychologist... just my guess). If I were you, I'd increase the cals, keep the workout and watch sodium intake. Oh, and add some weights!

Thank you ever so much guys I get it now... :) you guys rock so if I go to bed at 2 i can eat till like 2 h befor bed ( not alot ) but I get the 14 h without eating is bad... I did think about that, But I brushed it off ( I need to stop doing that ) thank guys

why do i always mess up... I have never wanted so bad... But I went to the mall today with my friend ( skinny little girl lol ) and we got Chineessss food :( I didnt have much but I know it's not the best for me

I think you are being overly ambitious with your goals. If you can shed three pounds a week, over an eight-week period, you would be looking at 24 pounds, which would put in the mid-280s.

This is a safe level of weight loss that will require discipline on your part. Although not quite your goal, 24 pounds is a lot of weight to lose and everyone around you will notice it.

How to accomplish this? Off the cuff, I think you need to be targeting around 1600-1700 calories per day - talk with your doctor though, because they may suggest upping or lower this amount. I'm adding in extra calories given your current weight. Eat lots of veggies and keep exercising.

You sound motivated and I think you can have yourself out shopping for entire new wardrobe before you even realize it. :)

When you think about it when you see i posted it and that was at 309 :) so 3 lbs at 10 weeks thats 30 so that's 279 :) and I was saying if I lost more then 3

I weigh 311 and I'm eating around 2,000 calories a day. I tried the 1200-1300 calorie a day thing, and I was MISERABLE. It's just not enough for our bigger bodies. As we lose the weight, we can lower our calories. As far as the bloating goes, I know exactly how you feel. I've gotten to the point where I can tell if I'm holding on to extra water and I just don't weigh myself then. It's all a process and we just have to keep on going!

I wouldn't give up swimming, it's an amazing workout. Really works out a lot of muscles and doesn't tired me out so much. I try to swim 3 times a week, I should probably do it more but i hate putting on the swimsuit and going out in public with it on! The only reason i actually get to it is i tell myself it will pay off, and i will thank myself for doing it when I reach that goal.

Plus i like to think of swimming as more fun then work. I love walkng and bike riding but once i get to that mile i find myself wanting to quit even if i've only been on the machine for 5 minutes, so it's a nice break and a little more variety.

Keep working and you'll look even more amazing come July!! Good luck hun!

thank you ever so much :) You keep up the good work yourself... I have not given up the swimming i was doing it like 7 days a week but now like you i do 3-4 and walk the trails as well but I know what you mean swimming is amazing I can spend hours in the pool :) good job hun
