Blood Sugar and Lifting

This is the second time I had to abort my work out early do to low blood sugar. (I am Hypoglycemic) Thinking about packing glucose pills to take when that happens, but does any one here struggle with this, and if so what do you do to address it?
 
well a lot of people sip a shake with protein and carbs (dextroses or maltodextrin, usually) that should help.
