Bloated Etc

This is on behalf of my girlfriend, she has been going down the gym & running for about 12 months now, 3-4 times a week.

Her weight was at 55kgs and very toned, we both recently really started to watch what we eat but now she has jumped up to 60kgs and her waist seems to be more bloated than before, is she missing something from her diet to give her that bloated feeling around her stomach?

i'm thinking not enough water, or too much sodium.

she's not by chance pregnant is she?

and its not just her time of the month is it? cuz lots of women retain water during their cycle.

wow 5 kg doesn't seem like "just a little bit" of water retention due to sodium or time of month :( is she doing much different with her exercise or strength training? I'm interested to see the diet too.

my mistake. even though i read 55kg and 60kg...i was thinking 'that's only a 5 pound difference'.

damn metric system. (honestly i like the metric system for everything except weight...so much nicer to say 20lbs than 9.87kg)
