bit of confusion!

hey all!

i have recently lost about 4 and a half stone my bmi is now at 19 my bodyfat is about 16percent (i'm female btw!) i am quite slim and do not want to fall into the underweight category anytime soon but i still have quite an awful jelly belly :(
i don't know what to do about this, i'm afraid to lose much more weight but my stomach is awful! can anyone explain how to tell between untoned muscle and fat as i think that hopefully would be the case (i'm vegetarian with a busy schedule so often hitting the gym and getting enough protein is hard).

any more ideas on what do? any good foods/exercises?

How are you determining your: BMI? If you are doing the various calculators on the internet, stay away from them. They are extremely inaccurate, and with persons not in the know about them, can cause unjustified stress and anguish. I am at 8% BF, 170 pounds, male, 5' 7" (A short shiaat, :)), and it will list me between 23 to 26 percent:

How are you determining your BF percentage? 16 percent for a female is pretty good. I understand that females (of course) can be different from one another, but usually, usually, localized fat accumulating (on average) are on the hips, thighs, and butt. Additionally, its my opinion, that some woman can have a more difficult time losing body fat, and low body fat (high teens, etc), as compared to a male, due to the amuck hormonal responses that some can obtain (during their period, etc, etc).

Do you mind posting a pic? Can I assume your like your butt, hips, and thigh areas, but are having complications localized to the abdominal area. Is it in the front, rear what? Just out of curiosity.

  • What is your Age, Weight, and Height?
  • What have you been doing for training?
  • What have you been doing for your diet to lose the weight you mentioned? How long under said perimeters?

Best wishes,

Chillen
