I will pray for your parents as well! Prayer is a powerful thing! I hope your Dad is able to take care of himself. It sounds like he is dealing with so much!
I am glad to hear you are doing well post pregnancy. I am amazed you even have time to be on a computer!! I forgot how time-consuming little babies are!! lol Glad May is doing well and gaining so well!!:)

Hey everyone! Been neglecting my diary lately. :blush5:

Mom is back in the care facility she spent 3.5 weeks at right before May was born. She will be there for awhile. They are doing lots of physical therapy to get her more mobile, and addressing the memory/odd behavior issues. They think it's sleep apnea causing oxygen deprivation.

May was a month old yesterday. Here are some pics I took of her. I know I'm totally biased, but I think she's pretty darn cute. :D

She passed her hearing test today and has her one month check up tomorrow. I'm curious to see how much she weighs. Should be about 10.5lbs.

I am back at the gym this week--went Monday and today. The last 4.5lbs of preg weight do not want to budge. Of course giving in to my cravings for chocolate, peanut butter and peanut butter and chocolate ice cream does NOT help. :blush5:

Awwww, she's like a little doll! She looks very much like you Kimberley, that's cool..my baby looks more like her father.. Miss you girl, CU here or on FB.

You'll stomp those 4.5 lbs. I still have 14 to go from my son I had 5 1/2 yrs ago! You're already doing great!

I hope your mom can get what she needs where she is. I've been praying.

I've already told you on FB how lovely May is looking - and how sorry I am about your mother's health issues.

I have to say that I am impressed that despite having May and your mother taking up so much of your time / thoughts you are still finding time to get to the gym and think about your weight. Four and a half pounds is NOTHING. You have done brilliantly to be so close to your low weight at this stage of the game. Congratulate yourself on this achievement. Despite being "stubborn" - believe that this weight will go too if you can possibly manage to stick to your food plan and keep up the exercise.
 
She is such a doll, absolutely beautiful! She looks like her momma too. It's about time I see a baby girl look like her mother, Bella is a little clone of Sean. Doesn't even look like she's my kid!

May is absolutely beautiful (no bias from me :) ).

I have to echo Margaret. It's great that you're back at the gym already - very impressed - and of course we know the weight will move.
 
just catching up - omg what a cute baby! shes just beautiful! it almost makes me clucky! (ok maybe not).
 
You did astoundingly well keeping the weight at bay while pregnant! How are you enjoying mommyhood? Funny how one minute you're not a mom and have no clue about it and the following second your deep deep deep into it on a second by second basis..forever.. hehe

I've talked about my grandma a lot, well here's a pic of her holding May yesterday.

And the other two are of Henry the cat. The first one he's caught in the act, and in the second one he's fleeing the scene of the crime..lol. Last night was the first time he's ever done that, and then he did it again this morning but I caught him before he got too far..lol. It's like having a dog or a toddler...:rolleyes:
