Feeling a bit better today. :) I made myself get on my exercise bike late last night. :smash: Still, weight was 220.5 today. Too much sodium yesterday. :ack2:

Brandy--Now that they've voted off all of my favorites, I probably will join you in not getting into AI this season...lol

Margaret--You are wise to try and block out the call of the chocolate. It is like a Siren tempting me with its song. Quick--somebody tie me up! :smilielol5:

Tammy--Actually, the chocolate Sirens haven't been too bad lately. It was eating out every meal last week that got me. :sifone:

Kimmy, honey, you know how badly the chocolate sirens nab me. I'm impressed they're not taking over your every sense. When it happens to me, I'm helpless and taken, there's no going back. In my opinion, your Hubby is UBERLY intelligent knowing how to bribe you with chocolate. If mine does it, heck I'll be all over him like frosting on cake.

You know what, don't worry about being back up to 220. You know weight fluctuate like this for a while before Scalentino decides he wants to play nice.

Because he was so nice to look at, I'm saddened that Michael Johns got voted out, but personally, David Cook is my fav on the show. He steals me away with his charcoal voice. I still can't get over his renindition of Michael Jackson's 'Billy Jean'. I think it was the night I fell in love. Lol.

Oh yeah! The Billy Jean performance was electrifying!! He is the only reason I might continue to watch. He reminds me of Chris Daughtry. His version of Johnny Cash's "Walk the Line" gave me goose pimples.

I'm gonna DVR it so I can just watch David Cook's performance, other than that, I'm boycotting the show. He got me when he rocked Lionel Richie's "Hello". Wow.

OHHHH...An American Idol conversation!!! Gotta chime in! LOL.ok, I'm with you about all my favorites being gone. Oh and I'm so with you about all the good ones being gone this season..Billie Jean was awesome though!!!

Aw, you didn't catch IGB?? I actually loved Annie Lennox on Idol Gives Back, she was fabulous...and being a complete U2 whore :beating: , I HAVE to say how touching Bono's little segments were. And, I'm not a fan, but I thought Carrie Underwood's cover of George Michael's "Praying for Time" was good...

A HUGE congrats on a new low!!!! You're fabulous, the weight is coming off so quickly! You are my Yoda. Teach me! :smilielol5:

Hello BikiniBound,

I am just stopping by and would like to say how great and easy it is to read your posts because they are so organized! How in the world do you log in 5 + hours of exercise per week???? Did you gradually add more exercise? Or are you just "naturally" active?

Carrie--what are you smoking? Please share!! Ha! The weight isn't coming off that quickly. Of course, I've been bad at keeping my eating at levels conducive to losing and not maintaining. That's the first new low I've hit in over a month..lol So I dunno about being your yoda--especially after the night I had..lol. Oh, I enjoyed myself alright...:smilielol5:

H and I went to his co-worker's house for dinner. We snacked on strawberries and grapes before dinner. This would be very good if it wasn't for the dip she made with sour cream, brown sugar and butter. It was delicious. Then we had homemade tacos--I only had one. Then I had one scoop of ice cream with chocolate sauce and an apple with more dip. Actually, I'm pleased that's all I ate--my cals came in just over 1800. She is a big food pusher..lol. You know, the kind who are always trying to cajole you into eating more. I swear she has Italian blood in her..lol.

Amy--I missed the hello performance as well..lol. If I don't watch it live, I have a hard time watching it on tape.

Thanks for stopping by! Lots of people around here exercise more than that..lol If you are just starting out, though, just take it slowly. When I started, I only did 90min per week. It takes planning ahead of time--you have to make time for it--don't let it be something you'll do if you have time. Like anything that's important, you have to make it a priority. How do I do it? I think you've already read how I did it..lol :D

I'm happy for you on the new low Kimberley. Great job!! Yeah, you did well on the food tonight, despite the "food pusher" :D.

Eeek. I've been busy so I haven't been around a lot. So you got to 218 last week and then got back to it again? Or something like that? I'm still happy for you because we've been corresponding since you were in the 250s or possibly higher. That was around last August. So yeah, awesome progress missie!

I got down to 217.5 last Friday. Then gained about 7lbs while we were gone last week, then lost all but a half pound of it yesterday..lol. What a yo-yoer I've been lately. That's why I'm trying to behave more on the weekends--b/c I'm sick of gaining and then taking it off only to gain it back. I want to spend my week hitting new lows and not losing the weight I gained over the weekend. :ack2:

I was 241 when I joined in July. :)

PS--I bought a pregnancy test today, but can't use it for a few more days due to my period not being due until a week from today.

I'll cross my fingers for you on the pregnancy test!

Thanks! I had a dream last night that it was positive. :D We'll see.

Looks like I'll spend my week doing this anyway, as my weight was up another lb today--221.5. However, I know that I'm full of crap as usual. ;) If I could get rid of that.....I'd be 210.......:smilielol5::smilielol5:

Good luck on the pregancy test when you get to the day that you can do it.

Well done for managing to resist many temptations and come in at around 1800 calories.

Everyone else had 3 heaping tacos, I kept it to one. My H had a massive ice cream banana split--I only had the scoop of ice cream with a bit of choc sauce. That was the extent of my goodness..lol. I consumed about 1400 calories over there. What saved me was that I only at breakfast besides that yesterday, so I had plenty of calories left to spare..lol.

Wow, you really think 1 heaping taco and a tiny bit of ice cream added up to 1400 calories? Eeeeeek! Absolutely fantastic job resisting the extra 2 tacos. Sheesh, what we must go through!

Let's not forget I ate tons of dip made from sour cream and butter!! Plus the strawberries, apple and grapes.

Hey BikiniBound--

You're trying to get pregnant? Good luck with that!! I hope the test comes out positive!

I completely understand about your weekly weight yo-yo-ing, it sucks to keep making one step back, and having such a hard time getting ahead!! Stay strong! You'll get through it!

I do speak Korean, throughout the recent years...it's gotten a bit "americanized". I was born in San Francisco, but raised by my greatgrandmother. With my father, I speak less than 25% Korean (over the phone) and with my mother, I speak more than 50% Korean with her..even though she understands english.

Good luck with everything this week! I hope you hit back down to 217.5, if not, be persistent! =)
