On the point of AI, my favorite performance of the night was Annie Lennox's 'Many Rivers'. It was SO FANTASTIC. She just ripped it like awesome. I was so close to crying. I need that song ASAP.

I agree! Fergie was doing front one handed walkovers on stage. WTF? I was impressed to say the least, but did wonder how great it would have been to see just a little tumble.

I did not recognize Heart at all. Poor gal, she didn't look like she wanted to be there. Fergie was working as a distraction with her baraccuda slithering across the floor.

A little more Brad Pitt would have been nice.



Oh yes, I did come by to say hello girlfriend! Hope you are doing well friend.

Claudia and Amy--I'm pretty sure it's the flu. I'm still feeling yucky--upset stomach, but not nausea. No appetite, either. I have no pregnancy test in the house, and feel too crappy to run out and get one..lol. We'll see how I feel in a few days.

Check your email, Claudia--I responded to your Flint question there. :)

I didn't watch AI last night--I was sleeping while it was on. My mom taped it, though, so I can watch it today, maybe. I watched it Tues night, and thought Michael Johns was good. I thought David Cook's sucked. I really wasn't all that impressed with any of them.

Have you ever dealt with a colicky baby before?? That is NOT fun. I would kill someone who dropped off their colicky baby with me for a week...all the salmon and shreddies in the world wouldn't compensate..lmao.

Well, I didn't get to the gym today, or do any exercise. All afternoon I was feeling extremely tired, which is odd, b/c I slept very well last night. I also got in a half hour nap in the afternoon. Still, all I could think about was how tired I was. I had two appts with clients, so I had to go. At the last appt, I started feeling nauseous. So of course I was wondering if maybe I was pregnant..lol. But I also developed chills and an achy feeling. I'm sure it's the flu. I haven't :puke:, but I feel weak as a kitten despite sleeping for 2hrs tonight. However, I feel that a speedy recovery is imminent, as The Dommer (my cat) slept on my head for 2hrs this evening--sending positive, healing vibes to me through osmosis. :smilielol5:

The good thing is that since I had no appetite for dinner, I only ate 720 calories today. So hopefully the scale will continue its downward trend.

Sorry to hear you have a bug! Drink lots of juice! Wish I could make you some soup! I'm having some trouble finding good lunch food. What do you usually have? I'm trying to go low carb, but I can't find anything that fills me up at work. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the soup offer. I had some turkey gumbo this afternoon. I'm drinking lots of water--juice has too many calories. :D

I'm off to make my final cup of green tea for the challenge. ;)

I was so pissed I turned off the TV. He is too damn scrumptious to be gone now. I'm sure he'll get a recording contract, I just hate that he's gone.

That pissed my butt off to, are people NUTS?? maybe his following was a little more in the upper age bracket and not the Teeny bopper bracket, I would buy his CD hands down, plus he's sexy hot too~~ I think this might be a popularity contest now, as I don't care the best VOCALS belong to David A, Carly, Siesha, David C, Michael J, Brooke, then dreads boy, and lastly Country girl. did Imiss someone?? LOL LOL

I do love the rocker guy, he really has talent too!!

LOL! Well, dealing with one's own colicky baby is different from dealing with someone else's...and I don't know any parent who's had a rough time with their baby think it was all that wonderful.

H didn't bribe me with shreddies--it was chocolate instead. :smilielol5:

Still feeling yucky. Weight was down to 218.5 today, so only 1lb up from last week.

Yup--Sexy Aussie guy definitely got cheated. I doubt I'll watch anymore. David Cook is a great singer, but he is average looking at best..lol I might tune in for his performances, but the rest is either country or insipid pop. :ack2:
 
I would love to join in on the American Idol chat, but I never got into it this season, and therefore have no idea whats going on. lol. Hope you are having a good day!
