BikiniBound's Diary

Kim honey, you know how the rule goes...you have to push the double beds together. Whoever's the naughtiest gets the crack...;)

You know what, walking is good for you. Just ask Marg. I know alot of people underestimate its value, but it does wonders for weight loss. You probably burned off more then you think.

Hope your Friday is going well!! Big hugs, sweets!!

Way to go with the food! I think it's ok not to exercise if you have to do THAT many chores, LOL, but what do I know? You're losing so much, that's GREAT! I always wanted to visit Ann Arbor, I hope you have a fabulous time!!!

Hope it's not raining up there like it is down here. But I am sure that you will find some sort of indoor activity to keep you busy if it is! LOL
Have a great weekend~~~

hey there!

Just stopping by to say "Hey".

Thursday is my day that I do all of my weekly chores too- a hbit I inherited from Mom, that way the house is all good to go for the weekend.

Hope you enjoy your Romantic Weekend!

Just was stopping around to some people's diaries...

I have a friend who grew up in Ann Arbor... She always told me I'd fit in great if I lived there. I hope you're having a good time.

As for the blister... When I get one, I usually burst it very gently with a (sterilized) safety pin, needle, ETC... Then I bandage it. It really helps!

Congrats on your weight loss so far... Honey Bunches of Oats is so good, huh? It almost makes dieting not seem like dieting!

This is supposed to be a romantic weekend getaway, yet when we checked in, we were informed that there were no king sized bed rooms available, so we are stuck in one with 2 double beds. :p Actually, we'll probably sleep better this way. :biggrinjester:

Push them together! ;)

Don't have much time, b/c I have to get down to the fitness room to WORK OUT!! LOL It has been rainy all day, so we have stayed inside for the most part. :D We did get a king size room this morning--all moved to the new room. It is much nicer than the old room--our bath is remodeled with a granite countertop for one thing. Just thought I'd let you all know that we do have a king size bed now..lmao. Ok--I'll be back later tonight. :)

CONGRATS ON YOUR EXCELLENT WEIGHT LOSS TODAY!!!!

GO BLUE TEAM!!!:hurray:

I'm glad you got the bed thing sorted out! Now you can get a better sleep. You are going to use that big bed for sleeping right? Ha ha! Have a wonderful weekend, Talk to you soon:seeya:

I forgot to mention earlier that with my new low of 217.5 today, I have officially lost 60lbs.

Now I have less than than 50lbs to lose. :hurray:

Amy--Can I just say that I love your eloquence? :D Actually, the two beds wasn't so bad, bc we had fun in one, and then retired to our separate ones for sleeping--yes, we did manage to sleep--although H got a lot more sleep than I did.

Margaret & Nightporter--the blister wasn't that bad--just a small one that is nearly gone now. I know all about popping them, etc. This one wasn't ever bad enough to pop.

Kim--The sheets have been rocked, I am sick of sex..lmao. But I'm not telling H that!! :sifone:

Rae--Today I kept track of my walking so I could count some of it for the challenge.

Tyly, Steve and Brandy--Thanks for stopping by!

Yarmiah--I just wanted to get all that out of the way before I left, and because my parents would've run out of clean clothes otherwise.

Eldaweesda--thanks for the congrats! That bed will get some sleeping done on it tonight. I'm worn out! lol

Amber--I always knew you were a kinky girl--and athletic--that sink is not very big!!

Bella--it did rain most of the day--hence the reason we stayed inside. ;)

Carrie--I'll have to tell you about Ann Arbor tomorrow night, as I haven't seen much of it yet. :p Tomorrow we will hit downtown and check out the college, etc.

Well, I really do hate most hotel fitness rooms. They suck. This one has 2 treadmills, a stationary bike, an ellipticle and some freeweights. The bike is all computerized, and I fiddled and fiddled with it and one of the treadmills to get the bastards to work. Neither of them would--well, the bike made a horendous sound that made me quit after a few minutes, and the treadmill kept slowing down to a half mile an hour pace. :cuss: I hate ellipticals, so after about 1min on that, I'd had enough. So I figured out how to run the other treadmill and got on that for awhile. Then I did some work with the free weights, then went back to my room to do some ab work, pushups and planks. I also did some walking to and from 2 restaurants, and all over our hotel, as it's full of long ass corridors you have to walk down to get anywhere. I didn't go in the pool as it was full of screaming kids all day and night. I'm sure tomorrow will be the same. I should do a bunch of walking tomorrow, though, so I'll wait until Sunday to use it. All in all, I got in 50min of exercise today--which is good b/c I ate 1.5 doughnuts and some other crap.

One thing I don't like about our room is that the pool is just outside it. It's very noisy. I don't know why there are so many damn kids here--it's not Disneyland--it's a freakin' college town. :cuss:

The restaurant we went to for lunch--chicken gyro for me, beef/lamb gyro for H--was good, except that I found a piece of plastic in mine. ?? When we went up to pay, I showed the hostess, and she told us not to worry about our bill, as she felt bad. I asked if she was sure, b/c I didn't show her that to get a free meal. Anyway, lunch was free, so that was a pleasant surprise. We had Korean for dinner. It was fabulous!! It was like we'd gone back to Korea--it was that good. I had my usual Yook-gae-jang, which is a very spicy beef and veggie soup. I'm still burping up garlic..lmao. We're going there again for lunch tomorrow. :D The owner was a very nice Korean guy who we talked to. He was surprised that we spoke Korean--as they always are..lol.

Congratulations on hitting the 60 pounds lost milestone.
:party::party::party::party:

I am pleased that you got the bed sorted out. I dont know why they make double beds because kingsize ones are so much nicer.

Well done for using the hotel gym facilities.

I would be inclined to use the nice Korean restaurant again rather than the kebab place that gives you plastic with your free food.

Sounds like a nice weekend just getting away from the parents house and a change of scenery.

Getting to know you all these months, I am so pleased to see you down in the teens. So close to onederland and getting closer and closer to your goal. I'm so proud of your fortitude to stick with it and keep at it, especially when you have lots of tempting things around the house from the others. Unfortunately this time its MY H's birthday, so I'll be stuck with a cake too. Yup, another cake sage but I doubt I'll be riding around with ours in my truck.

60 lbs is definitely a huge milestone! I know what you mean about screaming kids in the pool. ITs like... even if you were to decide to go in there, they wouldn't move when you were swimming laps, you would be splashed, and hit with flying objects, etc. I HATE IT!!!! And the almost NEVER have a good parent there to discipline them and make sure they aren't bothering other people. Some hotels have night hours that only people 18 + are allowed in. (JUST FOR THAT REASON) And weight rooms USUALLY suck at EVERY hotel room I go to. Its awesome that you got in the 50 minutes though. I've never had Korean food. I really like traditional Japanese and Vietnamese foods. I love to go out and try food from other cultures. Except it was unusual for me to use chopsticks first. lol.

Anyways... I hope you get a chance to use the pool. And enjoy your day away today.

Amazing job Kimmy. I am so proud of you. I don't even know what to say...I can only imagine how good that must feel!!!

I love korean food. It is so wonderful. I love the bean sprouts that comes with the kimchee. Oh great now I'm going to be craving that for a while.

Way to go Kimberly on the 60lbs lost!!!
:party::party::party:
What a milestone!!!
Glad to hear that even though you have had a couple of things snarl up on ya (ex. beds, kids in pool, crappy weight room and plastic in your food) that you haven't let it get in the way of you having a great weekend.
