If I was getting all upset about daily fluctuations, I could all of your points. However, I rarely get upset. Usually, the only time I get upset is if it's been over a week and the scale hasn't moved in the right direction. Yesterday, being up a half pound did not upset me. Slight irritation would be a better term. But I am very aware of daily fluctuations in water weight, glycogen, shit etc. So I know that if I'm up 2lbs from the day before, and my cals have been good--I know it's not 2lbs of fat, but two lbs of something that will probably be gone in a day or two. I don't get upset.
I need instant gratification. That's what I say by curiosity. If I have lost a lb, I don't want to wait 4 days to find out. This way works well for me, and I have no intention of discontinuing my daily weighing. It may not work for you, and I have no problem with that. I don't think everyone should weigh daily--especially if they can't handle the fluctuations. I can, however.
Now, after having said all that:
228.5 this morning! Goodbye 230s!
Now see, if I only weighed in on Fridays, I'd have to go 4 more days without knowing this good news.

You know what irritated me more than gaining that .5lb yesterday?? Coming in here all excited about my 1.5lb loss today and seeing these posts against my daily weighing.

To each their own, I say.
6 more lbs and I'll have to post before and current pics.
