BikiniBound's Diary

OMGOSH!!!!!! Don't move out of the country!! Move to OKC and open one with me!! I'm a B&B Freak!! I stay in a B&B every time I travel, and we have stayed in some great ones! Actually the last one we stayed at was in Eureka Springs Arkansas, OH YEAH!! It was BEAUTIFUL!! the couple that owned it were retired college professors and the guy was a chef before he was a teacher, so needless to say the breakfast every morning that was brought out to our deck was to die for!!! fresh fruit piled a mile high, all kinds, and oh my word the mouth watering baked french toast, YIKES!! :drooling: We will certainly go back and stay there in a few months, it wasn't even that expensive I think it cost us 130.00 a night and we stayed three nights. It was worth every cent. If I can help it, I'll never stay in another hotel, motel or Holiday Inn again!! Well, enough blah, blah about how much I like B&B's lol, I guess it's helping me stay off the topic of saying crap! I was hoping your scaled showed you mercy this week, well you did say it was a blown week for you, and that your ready to rock and roll again next week so I'm sure that few pounds will be BYE BYE by the time you weigh in again next weekend. I KNOW IT WILL!! I'll throw some MOJO your way for good will power and an awesome weightloss for next time!! Are you watching football??? I know I keep going back and forth, several good games on right now. Well, I hope your day is a good one and I'll try and check back later.
CHOW BABES!
Kim

LOL!! I should've known you love B&Bs as much as I do. We have lots in common. There is no way I'll move to OK!! No offense..lol. You should move to Mich and open one with me..lol. It is beautiful here--and I want it to be on Lake Mich where there is a HUGE tourist season May thru Oct.
Here is the website link for the Michigan Lake to Lake B&B Assoc. Most of these on the lakeshore do very well.

Oh, yeah--I'm watching football. I spend my Sats in the fall glued to the TV. And now I have ESPN so I can watch even more. MY poor H is a football widower this time of year. What are you watching?

I'm watching the OSU/Texas Tech game because my hubby is an OSU fan! My hubby plays football here himself, so needless to say we all love football! LOL LOL I've also been watching the Notre D game because I really want them to kick some ass, I'm tired about hearing how bad they are and why they are no longer the fighting irish, I wanted them to stomp ass! Not that I'm a fan or anything. My OU Sooners kicked ass lastnight on Tulsa, so I'm excited about that, but their hard ass games are only to come, so who knows what will happen here forward. I really want USC to lose in a big way tonight, because I'm tired of their damn egos! I HOPE THEY GET STOMPED, what are you watching?? OH, my mom's from Arkansas, so of course I want them to win for her. HEHEHEHE I'll check out that B&B and your right Michigan is gorgeous. I would love to run a B&B, but shit have you watched any of that Tori & Dean INN Love show??Those people are celebrity's and they are still not making any money. OUCH!! it's hard ass work!

OOHHHH I like me this one!!

I'm all about the "white Linen" So romantic. And that black iron canopy bed, I used to have that one in my bedroom about 4 years ago. LOL LOL Love it! AHHHHH I'm all about the being spoiled romantic on the beach feel. AHHH I want to book it right now.

If you go with my idea, it's easy. The website will only picture the normal suites. The kinky suite will get business through word-of-mouth, trust me. And you keep that room locked and tell the kids that it is a "storage" closet.

Sheesh, it's not that hard to hide your dark side, you just need some practice.

Oh yeah, We will need both of course, so your totally in, I wanted to tell Kimberly that I just checked out her Michigan B&B's and I didn't see any that offered B&B cottages, that's what my hubby and I stayed in last month. It was a B&B but instead of being in ONE BIG home you had your own cottage that was not connected to the house, it was only connected by a huge winding deck that went from their MAIN house to all their cottages, it was so awesome. So it's like being alone with full room service. It was increadible. That would by what I would like to do.

That would be MY DREAM!!! Especially because people are willing to spend lots of money when they go on any sort of vacation!

OMG!! You have no idea! My H and I considered buying that place a couple years ago when it was for sale!! And I love Ludington. It is my fav place in Mich. It's my dream to have a B&B there someday. I live about 1.5hrs away from there. Too funny. I swear you and I were twins separated at birth..lmao--just born 3yrs apart...:rofl::rofl:

Mich just beat Penn St. Oh yeah!! And Mich St is killing ND. Sorry! haha. Yeah, I'm with you on USC. I wish someone, ANYONE would beat them.

Ok, I'm off for my walk.

LOL Yeah, we must be some long lost sister or something. LOLLOL Yeah to you and your homeboys! Now if OSU can break away from this tie with Texas Tech, it will be a good weekend! I can't believe your getting a walk in, do you walk alone?? How far?? I'm currently kicking back and enjoying a glass of Pinot Grigio, mmmm it's so tasty and just to think I'm really a merlot fan. LOL My hubby just had me make a Cheese Pizza, and I "MIGHT" have ONE slice ONLY for dinner. One of my sons is staying in town with a friend and the other is here playing kissy face on the phone with his girlfriend, OH BOY the fun of having teenagers. LOL I think since your taking a walk, I'm going to go into my room and use the AB roller for a little bit. I'll check back in afew.

Well, if we're gonna hire a chef, it's going to have to be a pretty big inn in order to be able to afford a chef. Something like this:

or this:

Mackinac Island is sooo gorgeous. No cars allowed--just horses and bikes. You have to take a 20min ferry ride or a plane to get there. I worked there for two summers as a waitress. I adore it!:beating::beating: Actually, Mack Isl beats out Ludington..haha. Here is a link to some beautiful pics of the island.

I was planning to start small if it was just my H and me. Somthing where we could handle everything ourselves. I'm not a bad cook, so I'd take care of breakfast. I'd also do an afternoon tea with scones, clotted cream and jam. Yum. Oh, and an evening wine and cheese hour on the weekends.

Haha! You are soo right. I guess that's what we'll have to do...lmao!! So when are you booking the naughty room? You'd better hurry and make your reservations, bc I think Sheryl's gonna book it up for the next decade!! haha lmao:rofl::rofl:

That sounds gorgeous!! and I love the idea of Wine and Cheese at that last one we stayed at everynight they would bring us home made dessert and champagne, it was soooo romantic, I love that stuff! I just took a few pictures out on one of my decks, so you can see what I look at ever morning, OK isn't as bad as most think it is. HAHAHA Even though it's certainly no Michigan or Mass. HAHAHAH I've lived all over so I really think upstate NY is by far the best in scenery I've ever been a part of. My hubby made this old watering can fountain for me a few weeks back, I'm still trying to figure out what I want to put around it. And I need to buy some Mums next week for my tables and deck area steps. I love flowers! I'm going to post several more in my diary, I don't want to bog yours down with nonsense pics of mine.LOL

Back from my walk. Was gonna go for 3 miles, but it started getting dark on me, so I just did 2. How was your ab roller? My gym has one of those, but I've never used it..lol.

Mmm...a glass of wine sounds good--but I think I'd better pass on that since I don't want to do anything to lessen my weight loss--plus I think alcohol is probably forbidden in our halloween challenge this week. Damn..lol.

Aaah...teenage boys..lol. I would love to have teenage boys--especially if they were football players..haha. Do either of yours play? I would love to be a football mom.:D You're lucky your H likes football, too. I am watching the UK-ARK game. I am rooting for UK, only b/c I picked them to win in my Yahoo picks. UK is ahead 21-20, and they just intercepted the ball. :D

Lol! Very pretty. I always picture OK to be a dry dustbowl..lol. It looks similar to where I live.

Have you ever been to Northern Mich? The UP is amazingly beautiful. I've been through upstate NY, and I don't think it holds a candle to Northern Mich--but I AM biased..:D I'll go check out your diary.

No I have never been to Michigan, but I bet it's gorgeous! I've seen pics and it is very pretty! I'll have to make a trip up there in the near future! I wonder if I have any timeshare condo's up that way, I'll look tomorrow and see, that might be a nice vacation spot for us to go next time. I wonder how far that drive would be? hmmmm another thing to check out. YEAH!! Washington just made a touchdown on USC, OH YEAH tie game!! And our OSU Cowboys won, just barely. YEAH!! good weekend of football in my house. :jump: My sons were Baseball players one was an excellent catcher, they both were out of the park hitters, it was a blast, they played for several years, but now they are almost 18 and they are done with sports for now. I think girls and work/school are their focus today, LOL LOL. Trust me I spent MANY, MANY weekends at the ball field, AND I was their Cub Scout leader when they were younger, we have done a lot together me and my sons. My hubby plays full contact on a semi pro football team in Oklahoma and I think he's throwing in the towel for next season and he's going to start coaching. But he still plays Flag football every Thursday evening, and I love to watch him play, he's WIREY. HAHAHAHA

I would say it's a good 12-18hr trip--depending on where you go in Mich. It's a 4hr drive to Mackinaw City from my house, and I live just north of Grand Rapids.

That is so cool that your H plays football. So since you were a cub scout leader, would you kick ass in the fire-making challenge on Survivor? lol Your sons are lucky to have a mom who is so active in their lives.
