BikiniBound's Diary

Mens mouths are so big so we can fit our big feet into them!

My Grandma used to say, "If you can't think of anything nice to say, keep your mouth shut!" I have modified it to say, "If you can't think of anything to say that isn't STUPID, keep your mouth shut!"

Of course, if all men followed this the world would be a quiet place indeed.

The plateau sucks, I'm sure you will find a way past it.

David

Hey Hun:hug2:

I'm sorry I havn't been here:hug2: ... I'm glad your damn power has decided to work again...I can't imagine going that long without power. It just would not be fun at all.

I'm sorry your on a plateu ... but it will break ... you're doing soo awesome. A few more 3- 5 pound  really should help the situation too. Its really Sheryl's midgets in the scale... you gotta kick them to the unemployment line.

A plateau is just the flat bit before the going down! They will happen we just have to ride them...meant in the most innocent sort of sense!
Are you measuring yourself, have you lost cms?
Do you need to vary your food intake?
Have you got a midget lodged anywhere else other than in your scales? could explain your recent troubles  :)
don't loose motivation now...you are worth the effort. :hug2:
Sara

Sara's really onto something here...its all the midget's fault!!!

Hmmm... Actually it might now be the midget's fault. I think with all the horseback riding, working out, and eating for herself, Kimberly has forgotten to FEED her midget. Awwww... yes... I'm sorry to say, but your midget is now in starvation mode due to your lack of caring. Tsk tsk on you Kimberly. hahaaa I love yas, girl. Hmmm maybe if you changed your routine a little, it might kick things into gear? You'll get through it, darling... just keep pushing yourself.

hey bikinibound. thought i'd drop by and say hi. i skimmed over the last few pages and was a little taken aback at the bowel information being posted freely....however i'd like to score some brownie points (too obvious?) by saying that i understand your chocolate fixation, i keep track of mine too. i always weigh myself after to see how much i lost....hmmm, i should have used a tmi warning too perhaps....

anyway, you look like you've been quite successful on your quest, which is always inspiring. keep it up!

Hey sweetheart! I don't really know what to write about [even though I understand power and poops and H issues], so I'll simply wish you a wonderful day. Thanks for kicking around my diary on the dead days. It's so great to hear from you. :] *hug*

Oh, I sooo blew the diet yesterday!! I was doing so well at first, too. No exercise--which is the worst of it probably.

Food:
Breakfast--2 eggs, 3 small sausage patties, 3 strips of bacon
snack--organic peanut butter (about a 1/4 cup)
Wedding--2 small chicken breasts, 1 pork loin, salad, broccoli, cauliflower, summer squash, (here's where the naughtiness kicks in) a bit of really yummy garlic redskin mashed potatoes, one slice of wedding cake, some potato chips, pretzels, peanuts.
Home--1 slice of provolone cheese, 1 slice of deli roast beef, 1 bowl of cereal

Alcohol--3 or 4 rum and diet cokes, one glass of chardonnay, 2 glasses of white zinfandel

OH GOD!! So much for being low-carb--at least the booze was..:rotflmao: :rotflmao:

I was not drunk by the night's end, but was definitely feeling good. And they played one of my fav songs at the reception--New Order's Bizarre Love Triangle..lmbo. I love that song. If I had done some dancing, I might not feel so guilty, but I just wasn't drunk enough!! lol

So today I have decided to screw the low-carb thing, I'm just gonna eat carbs and go back to the low-carb tomorrow. And I'm gonna go for a 4 mile walk later on.

Thanks everyone for stopping by. David, I like your twist in the if you can't say anything that's not stupid...lol. Unfortunately, I am guilty of saying stupids things far too often...:rotflmao:

Yes, I would like to blame all this on Sheryl's midgets, but I have only myself and the sick, twisted, sadistic weight-loss gods to blame...:rotflmao:

Someone great once said "It will rev up our metabolisms--right? :rotflmao: :rotflmao: "
Let's go with that ;) :hug2:

Well, I think I might have figured out why I have struggled to lose this week. George came for a visit this afternoon. Looks like he'll be hanging around for the next 5 days or so. Lovely--but at least it makes me feel better about the up and down pattern. Also explains why I was such a bundle of angry, moody, hypersensitivity yesterday...:rotflmao: And part of why I've been so depressed the last few days. So hopefully this week will be much better.

I have decided that today is eat whatever the hell I want day. Tomorrow I will get back to normal. I like it that normal is not eating whatever the hell I want (like it used to be).

Hi bikinibound. Hang in there, that weight will start to melt off in no time. I've hit a rough patch myself. It looks like I might have put on a couple of pounds, this after eating less than 1500 cals and working out daily with weights and bike riding. I'm assuming its just water weight, but when I usually yo-yo, I end up going progressively lower, but for some reason I'm just stuck. I'm hoping its because I just recently started exercising after being inactive for a few years, literally. And maybe its just muscle being added. I still want to punch my scale in it's face! :)

Thanks for the support!

Man, if you weight 400lbs, you should be eating more than 1500 cals per day. I think your problem might be that your body has gone into starvation mode b/c you're not eating enough. Your basic metabolic rate (the number of calories you need to maintain your current weight) is about 3300 per day. This doesn't include exercising. I would up your calories to about 2000 a day. You will still be in a 1300cal p/day deficit w/out exercising. So burn 500cal a day exerciding, and you're in about an 1800cal p/day deficit.--maybe even more. I'd give that a try. Whatever you do, don't eat less than what you already are.

Holy shit.... Honestly, I was just in the kitchen cooking and dancing to that song not more than 5 minutes ago! LMAO I knew I loved you more than just for your pervyness. hahaa! Don't frett..... as long as you had fun and you were laughing and enjoying yourself, then it was all worth it! Besides, you've been doing so well as it is, girl. :D

I am shocked that you weren't totally drunk after around 7 drinks. I would've been way more than half in the bag.

Its no surprise that you went for a few off limit things at the reception. Honestly anyone would after a few drinks at a special occasion where everyone's eating, drinking and enjoying themselves without abandon. If we can [somehow] keep these episodes to special occasions then we've won half the battle.

The seven drinks were drunk over a 5hr period, and it certainly wasn't on an empty stomach!!!

I had a day of lots of carb eating, and I loved every single minute of it!! But tomorrow it's back to the grindstone. I must be a good girl again--well, at least as far as eating goes...:rotflmao: Let's not go crazy here..:rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Ha! I'm listening to that song as I type this. I love it...have since high school. Yes, there are sooo many reasons to love, let me count the ways...haha j/k. Girl, I know you love all the 80s music I do. I'll bet you like depeche mode strangelove too. In fact, I'm gonna dedicate that song to you and vinny. And Bizarre love triangle to you, Vinny and Oscar!! :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Yeah, H and I had a good time hanging out with a former co-worker and his flamer of a "wife." Those two crack me up. Unfortunately they're moving to Florida soon. Damn. The three of us were checking out the bride's brother's fine ass...:rotflmao: :rotflmao: My H, of course, was oblivious to this...hehe:rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Exercise for this week:
8/20--40min circuit training
8/21--3mile walk with IT in 45min
8/22--40min circuit training
8/24--40min circuit training
8/26--4 mile walk with IT in 57min (this is a new record)
Total 3hrs 42min and 7 miles walked

Food for today: Let's not go there! It will only make you all want to misbehave!

Haha. The H was just in here dancing like a dropkick to Bizarre Love Triangle, grabbing my boobs every now and then. What a lusty perv. No wonder I married him...:rotflmao:

I was very impressed with my walk tonight. Normally I do 4 miles in 60min, so I shaved 3 minutes off my time. woohoo! Actually, it was more like 56min and 40seconds. So it was an average 14.25min mile. oh yeah baby! I did something I haven't really done, and that was jog my IT portions the last 2 miles. So I probably ended up jogging for about 1 mile total. We shall see if my body is screaming at me tomorrow. For now, I feel fine, yeah I feel good. I feel like I never should. Whenever I get this way I just don't know what to say. Why can't we be ourselves like we were yesterday....:rotflmao: Sorry, lyrics from the song I'm listening to...:jump: :jump: :jump:

Ok, Paul and I have signed up for Yahoo's College Football Pick 'em. It starts this Saturday. If anyone else is interested, I will create a private group and we can see who is the best at picking the winning teams each week. If y'all wanna make it interesting, we could ante in some money, like a few bucks apiece and have a little reward for the top 3 at the end of the season. That is if several of you sign up. Otherwise, fuhgeddaboutit. :jump:
