Hi,
My name is Alex Stewart
Background info:
I am 20 years old full time student at Bridgewater State College in MASS studying Finance and Exercise Science. I am ISSA certified in both personal training and nutrition. I work at a local gym training and also train client via the internet. At the moment I am pursuing fitness modeling and acting while in college. I will try to update my journal each day with my workouts nutrition and how I am feeling. I hope to help out and inspire anyone reading my journal to become a more fit and healthy person. I also hope to make some friends.

Todays workout I worked on bring out the width in my back so I most did pull down movements

Wide pull ups 4x12 very slow with body weight
Close pull downs 3x8 heavy
Pull over machine 3x12
Rack deads 4x6
BB Curls 6x8 heavy but with all my bicep exercises perfect form. I find that I have to have perfect form on my bicep work or they dont get worked enough

Food to this point
Meal 1
egg whites
Oats

Post workout
Protein shake
2 bananas

Eating right now
Steak rice and veggies
 
Next meal:
Tuna and Almonds
 
Next meal is a favorite
4 eggs
Can of tuna and Broccoli cooked together.
I put mustard on it while eating.
Give it a try very tasty for diet food

Ooo, I cannot possibly imagine what you described as tasty. That's the only part I don't like about bulking OR cutting, Watching the diet.

It is like a tuna omlete I add some seasoning and sometime I add onions to it. But when dieting it is a good meal
 
Last meal yesterday was. Whey protein shake with natty PB and almonds

Breakfast or Meal 1: Protein shake
Oatmeal with Blueberries

Today is my father's birthday and my parents anniversary so I will be going out to eat tonight. My brotha and I split the bill and we bring them out to eat in Boston every year. It should be a good time.

I will off the the gym lata to hit my legs. I will update you guys lata on how that goes.
 
I like to stick to a little above maintance. 15-16 X bodyweight which comes to 2800-3000 cals

Workout went well
Warmup with bike for 10 minutes
Leg Extention warm up 2x15
Squats 4x 12,10, 6, 6
Stiff Deads 4x8
Hack squats 3x12, 12, 10
Lying Leg Curls 3x12 with a 2-3 sec squeeze at the top of each rep
Seated Calf raise 4x20

Postworkout shake-
2 scoops whey- shake 1

1 cup of maltodextrin powder-shake 2
Glutamine
Creatine
 
Next Meal: Chicken and Almonds.
Small because we are going out to dinner with the family. Should be a great time. My brother picked it out and will not tell anyone what resturant it is. He a big surprise kind of guy.

Just got back from dinner in boston. Dont know how to say the name of the resturant it was a Japanese sushi place and I love sushi. EEL is my favorite and this place made the best. My bro did a great job picking this place out. They also had this steak rice adn veggie dish that was to die for. I ate so my steak rice and veggies/sushi that I had no room for desert.
It was a great time/ Cost me an arm and a leg but my parents had a great time and that is all that counts
 
Today is a day off from the weight but I did do some fasted cardio this morning on the exercise bike low intensity for 30 minutes.

Meal one was a protein shake and oatmeal with blueberries

It looks like you take great care over your diet, is that because you need to stay super lean for modelling work?
I wish I was taking that kind of care of myself when I was 20

Yes I am trying to keep as lean as possible.
I actually got a call from a local photographer this morning inviting me to a modeling audition for local commericals and print.
I have to be in shape year to be able to break into the modeling business.

Next meal:
Chicken
Brown rice and brocolli
 
The modeling audition went "wicked pissa" had to from the boston area never use the saying but yeah.
They want me back to take portfolio pics on thursday.

Eating wise I brought some tuna packets and almonds and tried to eat on time.

I am relax tonight with some friends and maybe go see a movie

Hey guys,
went to the movies last night and saw Transformers. I thought it was great cool special effect. I like fun action movies like that.

Anyways today I have chest shoulders and triceps.
My favorite day. It is a long workout but I love the pump that I get in my entire upper body. I will update you guys with the results from the workout lata
Still really excited about the modeling thing. I will be going out lat tonight to find something to wear to the portfolio shoot of thurday

oatmeal and half a banana

Off to hit the weights lata
