Good Thinking, wishes! The rules don't say whose Friday it has to be :)

I hope I did good this week. I was excellent on my calories and exercised almost every day. I skipped yesterday. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
 
I hope Val's OK too. I really miss her presence from these boards. She was one of the first to post in my diary. I'm down to 433.2 this week which is a pretty small loss, but I had a huge one last week and I'm poised for a good one next week.
 
My darling bf just made me a spread sheet that will hopefully figure out everything that we need each week. remember me with the math brain! :rolleyes:

our total pounds lost and %ages are cumulatives right?
We are looking for the % lost since the beginning of the contest right?

I have not heard from Val?

Actually I have only heard from four in the girls team... Hopefully we aren't losing others???

I'm pseudo cheating and weighing in tonite.... since i was travelling all well


like clockwork - i'm really getting boring - that's 3 more down for me... (i'm freakin' impressed wiht myself that I managed to do this while eating 3 meals a day in restaurants for the past 5 days)
 
Hi..i'm still in too...tho havent lost a bean this week.. i'm gutted :(
Reckon its cos it's "that time of the month" and also been doing so much exercise i reckon i've built a load of muscle instead :(
For the first time since i started this i'm feeling well depressed and un-motivated:( :(
 
Sharona, dont give up - i get the same thing without fail every month. And every month it just motivates me to work harder to get the damned weight off! lol

Sorry guys the gym was closed by the time i got to it - im working all weekend :/
will stop by tomorrow.
 
Don't give up Sharona. You are just having a bad patch. Keep pushing yourself. It will eventually get you out of your funk!

Ta Wishes/Pineola/Brat :) i'm not gonna give up at the first hurdle

Just been out walking for 2 hours (climbed a load of hills to a local monument!) nearly bloody killed me but i feel great at the moment

Was just wondering how long it's likely to be before i lose more weight?
Still sticking to my 1200 low fat loads of exercise regime!
Do u only build muscle periodically then go back to losing fat?

Once your body gets used to the amount of exercise you are doing and the muscle stabilizes, you will stop building more muscle. That muscle will then help your body burn fat!
 
when you walk and exercise you do build muscle wich weights more but it is a good thing i started out walking slowly i am up to 2 miles i tried 4 miles the other night and oh my God !! i am sore but i am feeling great like you did after the walk keep up the good job
