I have that this is week 6?
We started on August 11, with our first weigh in being August 18, so that would be week one and so on... Friday the 22 was only week 6.

I still have not heard from the three mentioned earlier? Mad Musician, Pineola, and Sharona???
What's up? Are we losing momentum?

3 weeks left... I should be able to hit my original goal of 230 by the end of the challenge....

I adjusted my goal from 230 to 220 at the beginning of the challenge, but I don't see myself losing 20 more pounds in 3 weeks....
 
Yep Preacher I think you really are the biggest loser! :D
Mal from the girls team gives you a good run for your money too!
You are right though, 20 lbs in three weeks would probably be pretty unhealthy.
You must be feeling so great about things!

Preacher- what are you doing?

1200 calories a day and exercise.... nothing special, just very strict with myself.

I track everything I eat on a spreadsheet, recording my caloric intake and weight every day... it helps keep me on track and keep me honest.

I would be more than happy to email a copy of my tracking spreadsheet to anyone who thinks it might help them.
 
I am officially off the challenge. Boy...I sound like a little quitter, don't I? LOL!

Anyway...Rottengirl, thanks for keeping my totals to the side, but it just doesn't seem fair to the team when I have been out for most of the challenge. I stepped on the scale this morning and I am a few lbs up...not good. Enough of the "I'm ill, therefore I can't lose weight" mentality!

Anyway...I am logging calories again for a while to get my mindset back on track.

I haven't gotten the results back from my retest on the abnormal bloodwork, but I am not going to sit around any longer waiting to find out if something is wrong with me. That just seems like a defeatist attitude and an excuse for me to be lazy about what I eat.

Anyway...GO GIRLS!!!!!
 
Sorry to hear you are leaving the challenge, bep, but you gotta do what you gotta do! Doesn't mean you have to be a stranger ;)
 
I think she took my % out when I landed in the hospital the first time. I think she has been running the % without my numbers in it but just keeping mine on the side in case I could come back.
