Big Mac's Lifestyle Change

I've always been pretty hard on myself. Expect a lot out of me. When I finally realized how fat I was, I just felt like a failure. Making progress now, sure... but I would have been fine if I had the sense to eat right all along. Like I said though, I'm happier with myself every day. I'm getting to where I want to be one step at a time. I just wish I hadn't walked so far in the wrong direction.

I agree with Adeon. :iagree:

You need to be very proud of your 2lb loss and all that you have accomplished. No matter what you did to gain the weight, losing it is one of the hardest things to do. And the fact that you have completely changed your lifestyle and began walking down a healthier path is a monumental accomplishment...you are really doing something fantastic here. Own your success and feel good about it!! :beerchug:

So, while I was eating lunch today I was thinking.... I want to be 255 by Vegas. That will be 100 lbs lost from March-November. That gives me 12 weeks to drop 29.2 lbs. Leaving me to drop about 2.5lbs a week. Its time to put the axe to the grind stone and take no prisoners! :banghead:
If anyone can do it, YOU CAN!!! YOU GO BOY!!! :hurray:

Thanks ladies! I know I can do it, just have to work a little harder. I do own my success, but I'm also not afraid to own my faults either.

Good weekend with no cheating. Glad to start this week with a clean slate intstead of a fluctuation from bad eating. This train is headed for 255 with no scheduled stops!

Can't wait to get to the gym today!

Hey Shaun, I actually had a pretty solid weekend too. I ate out a bit, but had relatively healthy stuff. No really bad fast food or anything. All in all a good weekend for both of us :)

Great job Amanda! Lets keep it going, I need to drop another 29lbs in the next 12 weeks. Time to buckle down and do work! :iagree:

Glad you didn't cheat. I treated myself to a Ben & Jerry's chocolate peanut butter ice cream cone :D But guess what? I ran 24.5 miles last week, total. So.......I deserve it i think???

Have a great day at the gym!

Thank you MissD, 30 would be great. Even droping 100 pounds from May to November though would be quite the achievement.

Definately, one cone is no big deal with that much running. The problem is when you buy the 1/2 gallon and bring it home.... haha :sifone:

Heh, I had 4 consecutive weekends of cheating, by no means am I a good example. I just decided I was tired of having to work so hard to drop the extra 2lbs from the weekend.
