Alta you're not leaving.

As far as the secret message board goes, it's just inside tips on workouts and how to get our bonus points and stuff. Nothing really significant. Example: giving snap advice on ab workouts, or alane giving us advice on fiber... no big deal really.

My team really isn't on here a whole lot as far as support goes. Support can come from anyone though... I'd like to think that you recognize how I support you. I see a lot of the Hooters on your diary supporting you as well.

right.....its not that i don't feel support but like I said, people are getting sensitive, and I don't want to end up hurting a friendship because of competitive feelings,.....get me......
 
That might be something you need to sit down and talk to her about. At the end of the day we're all people and none of us are perfect...ya live and hopefully ya learn. *hugs* It wouldn't be the same without you
 
I understand but I don't think you are. Sometimes jokes go too far and people get offended, hell... I was offended that one day for a bit. We are adults though, we get over it and move on. There's no reason competition-wise you and Alane can't workout. I'd love that if someone on another team worked out with me. That way I could put in that extra effort that I sometimes don't feel like giving.
 
Just an outsider's point of view. This competition is, or rather should be, each person competing against his or her own self. It's everyone wins. It's not like there is a million dollar prize. Just getting to your own individual goals is a prize. Each challenge is set to help you realize that goal. The scoring is just to give the team members extra incentive.

Personally I think that it doesn't matter who "wins" because each of you is a winner. Alta, your enthusiasm is unmatched. Don't let this pretend competition keep you from your goals or your friendship.

Went to the gym for 1hour of basketball and 30min resistance on chest/triceps. Felt good, really built up a sweat playin ball. Getting a lot better at my jump shot. Which has nothing to do with anything, but I like basketball and I feel more athletic than I have in a while.

Rest of todays food:

PM Snack: Whole wheat pretzels, lowfat cheese
Dinner: Chicken shish kabobs and terryaki marinated w/ peppers, red onions, zucchini, and wild & long grain rice.

My day is going fine, was tired this morning but I'm over it. Can't wait to hit the gym today and sweat off some pounds.

Bfast: Whole wheat english muffin w/ pb, 12oz lowfat milk
AM Snack: Yogurt w/ fiber, almonds
Lunch: Grilled chicken salad w/ lite olive oil vinaigrette + benefiber tablet

GOOD job....that's a GREAT way to get cardio in...NICE way to WORK IT~!!!! ;)
 
Heh, thanks Alta. It's great when you don't even really consider cardio time till you look up at the clock an hour later when you're all sweaty, haha. Lately when I get done playin ball I look like I got a bucket of water poured on me. I think all that water I drink makes me sweat more, or maybe I'm just crazy.
