From someone who's been there Jello, if you just quit drinking it and just do water... It will usually take a couple weeks but you'll grow to only crave water. I don't even want soda anymore. HFCS might as well be bacon grease to me.

Paula! you missed a lot. While you were gone, me and Trops started a cooking show. Oh, Erika is gonna try to embarrass me in Vegas. Thats probably about it :D.
 
So tonight at the gym I did about 40min of basketball full-court. Had to guard this guy who was a lot faster than me... sucked but it got me moving. Then I did 20min HIIT on the elliptical. Finished it off with about 35-40min on bicep/shoulders/back.
 
Thurs Dinner: Turkey breast on romaine w/ tomatoes and balsamic dressing

Fri Breakfast: 12oz lowfat milk, 1 wholewheat english muffin w/ pb
 
Hey Shaun, hope you have a great weekend! Feel free to indulge yourself a little... you've been doing so well that your body really needs a break. Don't workout this weekend, eat all the junk food you want and maybe throw in a pop or two... you deserve it! ;) Talk to ya Monday.
 
Haha, you're evil Paula. I let myself cheat a little bit today. No soda though. I did play roughly 3 hours of volleyball though. Did resistance training this morning too, all bodywieght stuff but still a good workout.

Anyway will be looking foward to your next weigh-in to seehow you have been doing. Keep going bud your'e doing well.

I'm down to 155... .had to buy a couple new pairs of pants for work this week cuz everyone was saying mine were baggy lol... hope to have to buy more in a couple weeks.... anyway, CONGRATS HUN! Like I said before, party up and celebrate! ;)
 
Haha, thanks Paula :D. You're right... I should celebrate. Maybe I'll spend an extra half hour with the elliptical to celebrate.
 
Way to go, Shaun. That's really something, but I can't say I'm surprised. With the way you are sticking to your diet and working out like a fiend, you'll be down to goal in no time. Way to go, brother. :cheers2:
 
I think a good way to celebrate would be with a nice filet of wild salmon. I haven't had good salmon in quite a while.

Awesome job. I bet you were dripping in sweat from that full-court cardio. My bikram yoga on Thursdays night was extra hot and extra intense...a little too much for my liking and the sweat was pouring like buckets. But I guess we need to be pushed passed our internal limits every now and then to progress to the next level right?

Great job w/the weight resistance follow up. Come Vegas time we will be drooling all over the streets!! :drool5:
 
I try not to do rewards for food, just to get myself outta that mindset. I might just do salmon tonight though. Salmon, some wild rice, and some veggies sound pretty good.
 
Heh, yes humps the basketball was def a sweaty workout. I'm too big to guard those fast point guard guys. Its like shaq trying to guard kobe... its just not gonna work, hes too fast lol. Maybe once I drop another 65 though.
 
Hey there buddy. Just wanted to stop by and say way to go on dipping below the big 3-0-0 level. Its good to see us big guys shrinking lol. I weigh myself Monday so hopefully I will be right behind you on breaking 300lbs.:hurray:
 
Thanks Humps and Jetta, its a big step that needed to happen. Now to continue my way down... next small goal is 280.
