Paula, you should probably be drinking more water. I would say around 120-160oz a day. Who knows though maybe I'm just addicted to the H20.

Hey Alta, thanks for stoppin by. Everything's cool as long as you don't try to get me to drink those shakes :). Keeping a positive attitude definatley does help in the whole process of leading a healthier lifestyle. I've had to eat my own words every now and then, like when I tell people to ignore the scale and work hard/eat right. Then I go a week without seeing weightloss and freak out! I'm glad that everyone around here is encouraging, motivational, and inspirational. I also feel an accountability to the forum, "practice what you preach" kinda thing. Heh, I can't wait till that "HOT ass Man" as you'd say, comes out and joins the party. I'm kinda done with the overweight, soda drinking, fast food munchin Shaun. I already feel worlds different but I know I have a long ways to go.

The tattoo idea I'm still tossing around, gotta figure out something I really want. As far as being 70... if someones checkin out my bod at 70 then I must be doin pretty good, right? haha.

Paula, it is really amazing how much better I feel. Haha, definately smoking hot Shaun is definately on the way... I can see the smoke in the distance. A gallon of water would definately be a great goal... your body will thank you.

Speakin of which, I saw your pics up on the before&after thread, and you're smokin hot yourself! Not to be crude either... but I totally see why you're on team Hooters! :biggrinjester:

Yeah, I'm not sure where my life will be at in 6 months as far as going to Vegas, but I'd like to go. Put me down as a maybe, and I'll for sure join the challenge. As long as things go smoothly I'll be there come November.
 
Good day so far! Can't wait to get to the gym. My abs are STILL sore from monday's core workout. Oh well... another step towards a smokin hot 6-pack when that day finally comes.

Food Log:

Breakfast: Fiber-One Raisin Cluster w/ 1% milk
AM Snack: Low-fat cheese, Baby carrots, a few almonds
Lunch: Burgerking salad with grilled chicken, ceasar dressing (gotta do something about this, need to pack my own Balsalmic-Vinagrette so I don't fall into the fatty dressings too often)

Water Log:
Ummmmm think I'm at 70oz so far today. Got a long ways to go!

Chest and Triceps today at the gym! Can't wait! Totally gonna own that elliptical as well.
 
Hey so ummm when are you going to weigh yourself?!?!?! I'm eagar to see how much you've lost. And are you noticing any changes?!?!!?!?!?!?

Ummmm... I don't know. I think for the competition they weigh in on saturdays, so it might be this comming saturday. I'm not looking forward to this weigh in to be honest. I mean, I've worked the hardest this last week and a half, I've just been doing a lot of resistance training. I tend to find that the weight loss isn't as significant when you do a lot of lifting. My eating has been on point though besides a few minor things here or there.

I'm expecting 4lbs loss by saturday, we'll see if I hit that expectation.

As far as changes go, I feel worlds different. So much more energy and life. I just think that may be a result of increased muscle mass which may damper the pounds lost. Who knows, I can be quite the cynic.

YOU should TAKE measurements too.....maybe that'll help for your TRACKING also, cause you are RIGHT, when you lift, sometimes you loose more inches than lbs....

GOOOOOOD JOB and IT would BE cool if YOU made it OUT TO VEGAS too!! ;)

I feel ok today, a little tired. Didn't get to work out as much as I wanted to yesterday, packed gym. I'll definately make up for it today. Think I'm gonna make the chicken fajitas over rice again tonight.
