Bicep, tricep, abs, back, etc, what days to work out each muscle in 5 a day period.

What I mean by the title is, which muscle's should you work out with other muscle's. For example, is it a good idea to work out the bicep and tricep on the same day (same workout) or perhaps do bicep and back on same day, etc. All this based on working out 5 days a week. Main muscle's/groups I am concerned about is: bicep, tricep, upper and lower back, abs, forearm, legs - both quads and calves.

The point of this is I am trying to make a new plan and I know I've heard that it is better to work some muscle groups out on the same workout and your workout will be more efficient. By this I am also going by only working out maybe 2-4 muscle's in one workout lasting from 1 hour to hour and a half.

I think you should group them like this

Monday: Biceps , Chest and Abs
Tuesday: Calves and Legs
Wednesday: Rest
Thursday: Triceps, Back and Abs
Friday: Biceps and Chest
Saturday: Calves Legs, Triceps, Back
Sunday: Rest

Thanks strike for the reply, but I forgot to mention, I can't workout my chest due to 10+ scars I have all over my chest from past surgery's. Also the only days I can workout is Monday-Friday. :)

why do people insist on grouping Chest/biceps and back/triceps. It makes no sense.

The exercises you do for your back involve working the biceps, it therefore makes more sense to group back and biceps. The same goes for your chest and your triceps.
