Best way to lose weight...

I need to lose a LOT of weight and so need help with my exercise plan.

I wanted to know whether to begin with, i should just focus on cardio untill i get my weight down and then start weights in order to tone and make the weight loss faster.

If not, when should i incorporate the weight training? I heard it's best to do cardio 5 x a week and resistance 3 x a week. But does that mean some have to be done on the same day? Also, for each resistance day, would i work on a full body workout or focus on a body part? Should i also mix up the week with high and low intensity interval training?

And, i don't have access to a gym, so what sort of resistance exercises can i do that are effective? I have an extension cord and some dumbells, but that's it. Do push ups and crunches count?

THANKS!

x

You can do cardio every day, particularly if you are mixing up the type. Weights three times a week, I would start right away. I would do a full-body workout since you're a beginner. Pushups and crunches do count.

hi..
You want to loss your weight then be control on eating food. Eat as much as fresh food with the limitation then do exercises more in the early morning times i think this will help you out to make loss your body weight..

Practicing yoga will build strength. In order to lose weight, you must eat healthily and burn calories by doing exercise that raises your heart rate on a regular basis. Many people also choose to combine yoga with running, walking or other aerobic exercise in order to reach their weight loss goals. Yoga is really helpful in shaping up your body. If you don't have time to go for yoga classes, you can bring home Yoga for LifeDVD. With the help of this, you can practice yoga at your own convenience.

although I have low body fat, about 13% Two months ago, I dropped 4KG from 62-58 in 1 1/2 months, simply by cutting my diet. Now I am only 6%

No processed foods, no cheese, lots of protein rich foods, keep everything low fat, buy fat free or low fat foods. All I've done differently is resistance training, 3 sets 3 times a week, with situps. So I'd do a set of pullups, chinups, pushups etc. I've knocked back pizza so many times, its hard but worth it.
