Best Way To Go About...

TONING! I have been working out all my life, in various sorts, such as swimming, running, tons of abs/legs/arms, and at the gym. I am a couple years out of highschool, and I am now starting to lose all the tone my body had. Is there any way ya'll could help me out and let me know the best way of working out at the gym that will tighten me back up??! I also wouldn't mind losing just a bit of weight before I started trying to tone up!

My schedule now when I go to the gym is as follows:
Cardio- about 25-30 minutes
Free Weights- triceps and other arm muscles i couldn't name!
Machines- quads, calves, biceps, sometimes abs
Abs- on the floor, on a decline bench, etc.

A full body workout 3 times a week would be beneficial I think. I've been working out from The New Rules of Lifting, by Lou Schuler and Alwyn Cosgrove and have been enjoying some good results. If you want to build your own program try concentrating on compound lifts like squats, deadlifts, lunges, rows, presses and the like over isolation exercises (e.g. curls).
