Yeah, dry skin can be such a pain... I usually deal with it every winter. What’s helped me most is keeping showers short and using lukewarm water instead of hot and it made a big difference! I also started using a plain fragrance-free moisturizer right after showering and it locks in the moisture way better.
do you find certain seasons make it worse for you, or is it all year round?

Hey Michalle, sorry for the late reply and I totally get how frustrating dry skin can be, and in winter it's even worse, it really takes a toll! You’re already doing some great things with lukewarm showers and fragrance-free moisturizer (that’s such a skin-saver).

For even better results, try layering a gentle hydrating serum (with hyaluronic acid) with your moisturizer to really lock in water and using a thicker cream or ointment at night to repair your skin barrier while you sleep also adding a humidifier in your bedroom during winter can also make a big difference.

and yeah for me, it’s definitely worse in colder months too, though I notice a bit of dryness year-round if I don’t stay consistent with hydration and gentle products.
