Best Quarterback Ever

It's always difficult to answer a question like this, especially over the "all time" spectrum. Guys like Sammy Baugh, Bobby Layne, etc., who played years before the merger...guys from the AFL who retired before the merger...guys who retired before the early 1980's rule changes that began to favor offenses...these are just a few of the factors that complicate a discussion like this.

Here are a few QB's that would probably NOT be considered best all time:

1. Ryan Leaf
2. Heath Shuler
3. Art Schlichter
4. Gary Hogeboom
5. Cleo Lemon
6. Neil O'Donnell

I'm sure there are more.
 
Brady, Montana, Elway, Marino, Manning(P)

No way Favre makes top five. He is above average and is a tough old bastard and fun to watch, but no way top five.
