Wow that was insanely helpful and I thought I was doing my bench as good as it gets! I will try these tips tomorrow at the gym and tell you guys how it goes!

yeah i read that too and needed to adjust.. was very weird as i was not used to tucking my arms inn.. took a while to get used to :p

A few thing missed

I have been working out now for about 11years and have learned a few tricks along the way.
first thing is try doing other movements other than benchpress, such as dumbell press which will involve alot mot of your stabilizer muscles and help to build them up so that once you go back to the good old benchpress after a month of dumbell press you will be able to lift alot more on the bench and the weight will feel lighter.
give it a try and see how it works for you.

It helps alot to tightten your back up and everything else. I still have a problem with my elbows they go out to the side like crazy! It seems like it takes alot more energy out of you when you tighten all those muscles up and go for that last bench, than compared to being more relaxed. No one said it was going to be easy I guess heh.

thanx dude i9ll try that out tommorrow i school, i can bench 155 rite now, wat weights should i use in dumbbells?

If ur new to the dumbells you should start low incase your cuffs arent big yet. Or your stabalizers I started with 40lbs but jumped quickly just dont over guess yourself because its alot harder with dumbells.. For you id say around 65-75 but try 40 and see how it feels first.
