Bench Press Max

Hey! My goal is 180lbs. I will get it. Hopefully by the end of January. I'm currently screwing around 6 or 7 straight sets with 105lbs.

Even though she can bench more than me, I find it rather impressive that such a weak species is capable of even these feats.
 
im not happy with mine either.. now its 60kg, last time i checked, it used to be more, like.. 65, 67.2 or something like that, but then i decided to start doing it with propper technique, and it was very ackward:p
 
Down to ~200 lbs. My pre-climbing season workouts eliminate mucho strength, because I am working on capillary size and endurance.

A better judge of pure body strength is the squat.

What is your 1RM on squats?

Dunno mine right now, because I do no leg workouts during climbing season. My best guess would be ~300 lbs.

on chest, mine is around 125 lbs.
About 4 months ago, it was like 88 lbs.

I am quiet pleased with the gains in strength on chest coz I remember I was so disappointed with myself on bench press.
 
My bench is at 265...It was climbing pretty steadily for a while...but I think I've come to one of those points where I gotta put in a little extra effort...I've been at 265 for a good 3 weeks now...it SUCKS

agree with that.. squats or deadlifts..
My squat, last time i checked was at 80kg 1rm.. and that was with no tweaking or anything to get it up, just straingt down and straight up.
deadlift was at 105kg
 
i bench 250 right now but it's sadly declining right now.... I am having trouble toning while keeping my muscle right now......
 
I'm extremely happy with mine. I weigh 138 pounds and my max bench is 160. it used to be 125 so i'ts gone up a lot in the last month or so.
 
mines 225 i can't do anything on the bench at the moment my elbow is ****ed anytime i try for overlord i get piercing pains, hopefully going to the doctors soon cuz i'm just gettin baq into workin out
 
on bench i can hit 200, for a regular squat im gonna guess i could probably do around 225, and probably deadlift max somewhere in between those two. and in my opinion most the time if you can hit your body weight on bench then your upper body strength is alright, at least i was proud when i got up to that.
 
Let's see, I've hit a 300 bench, 415 squat, 300 front squat, 200 OH squat. I haven't benched or back squatted in awhile or worked on a max front squat so who knows where they're at at the moment.
 
Hmm, I don't know 1 rep maxes...

Bench at 4 rep max changes between 200-245

Squat, dont remember if it was 3 or 4, was at 355

Deadlift, 3 or 4, is at 305

so I guess above those numbers for 1 RM, there are charts and percentages but im too lazy

Those charts and percentages suck though. And I feel ya on being lazy.
