I don't know if they still offer it, but they used to offer gymnastics at the community center over there - it was quite reasonable and I think the classes ran for like 6 wks at a time. The only down side was you had to be there in person to sign up or all the slots would be taken - no matter if you had already been enrolled in the previous class.
 
Wow! I just worked my butt off on my elliptical - going as hard as I could, but could only burn off 339.8 cals in 33 min. (that was on the weightloss program.)

You are doing awesome, keep it up!
 
LOL oh my word, I could literally picture your son peeing on the scale. HOW FUNNY IS THAT! Okay, it's not funny in the sense of yeah I would be pissed because I had to buy a new one, but funny in the fact that I raised two sons of my own and I remember when they did little things that just made me so angry, but then once I went over to discipline them or yell at them for doing it I would break out laughing because they were so darn cute!! I love that part about being a mom, they sometimes really made my day, even when it was a bad thing. Does that even make sense???

You did a fantastic job as always, and look at the loss, OH YEAH!! Great job my friend, I knew you would lose again. YEAH!!!!!:party:

Got up this morning at 193.2. Putting me down another pound. So hopefully I can continue to hold on to that thru next Thursday/Friday. Or even go lower.
That puts me 8 pounds away from my mini-goal. Which is to be 185 by Valentines Day. I think that I just might make it!

Another short one as today I ran all over the place trying to get things done and of course I had swim class this morning.
Weighed in at 192.6 this morning. Which puts me at about a 1/2 pound lower than the other day.
Most be all that fiber that I am eating!
And let me tell you I am eating it! LOL
I thought that Kimberly had set the challenge at eating 45grams of fiber everyday so that was what I was shooting for. Well I got the job done!!! LOL
But just went back and saw that I only needed to have 25 grams of fiber everyday!
Good thing I checked 'cuz I was getting full! LOL
I'll check back in later, I need to skidaddle on out of here. The kids are about to be released from school!

Well let's see.
There was oatmeal for breakfast and I had a can of Progresso soup that I added green beans and another can of white beans to it. Also ate lots of vegetables.
Then I went and got me a box of Kashi cereal (13g per 1/2 cup serving) and had a few bowls of that.
I also found Fiberone (14grams per 1/2 cup serving) cereal. It has like 1 more gram of fiber but was 140 calories less. So for the most part lots and lots of cereal/breakfast stuff.
Friday was the only day that I really felt like I struggled with. But then again I thought I was suppose to be eating 45grams not 25 so I guess I never really struggled like I thought I had.

I just bought fiber one cereal yesterday! :) I don't care for the Kashi stuff only because it is super high in calories (plus price) and you can do just as good with other stuff. I eat bran flakes too. Mostly because I love corn flakes, but I know they aren't so good for me and don't deliver like the "bran" ones do. :p
I don't think I could eat cereal all day though.
 
Well I didn't eat it all day.
Just so much of it that I really wasn't hungry for the rest of the day.
I guess that is the point of fiber!
Funny we both got our cereals on the same day! I was so excited when I saw that it was only 60 cals. Splenda is a wonderful thing!
 
LOL@ the pee in the scale problem. Welcome to the world of scale addiction. As a self-professed scale ho myself, I completely sympathize...lol. I have a back up scale in case anything would happen to my other one. :D Yes, that is bad.

Congrats on the weight loss! You are doing so well. I couldn't believe how much you exercised last week!! :hurray::hurray:
 
Just got up from a nap.
That stupid headache is still hanging around and I just can't seem to shake it.
Haven't gotten a darn thing done around the house and I really need to. Especially since I had dh take the youngest to daycare today sooo that I could get things done.
Cals are good for the day. 770 with 52 grams of fiber.
Even though I figured out that I did not need to be eating so much fiber I still ate a whole cup of my FiberOne this morning and dang if those FiberOne bars don't taste good! I ate 2 of them. LOL Those 2 bars alone alone put me at 18 grams! :piggy:

Are the cereals tasty? I don't like the Kashi Brand.

Hope your headache isn't a struggle for much longer. I've had one going on two days now. I've been trying to take it easy and quietly munch my fiber. :p
 
Hey there girlie! Sorry to hear about your headache, are you lacking in caffeine today?? Maybe it's all that fiber your eating. LOL LOL WOW 60 something would have been a LOT, I can stick or handle around 35 a day. LOL

Look at you get all skinny and stuff, YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!!!!!

MAN, like I said before, I better get running, or your going to pass right by me, and I'm NOT KIDDING!! Your body must love you more than mine, as I'm not dropping the pounds as quickly as I used to, maybe it's all converting to muscle, who knows, I do know that I wish I could see a 5 lbs drop one of these days, that would put me over the top. LOL LOL

Well, sweet girl I hope your day turns out better and that darn headache finally passes. Good luck to you on the next few days, let's just say I don't think you'll have to worry about being eliminated that's for sure!!! LOL LOL

I've got a headache too. :( I hope I'm not catching whatever it is Mr. M. has - he stayed home from school today and has got a fever and chills.

Why are you eating so much fiber? I know you're in a challenge and all, but you should gradually increase your fiber from what I've read or you could experience a few gaseous problems. ... :eek: Anyway, here's a good site with a list of foods to get fiber from in case you get tired of eating the bars and cereal.

And another one if you're up to reading about why you need fiber, how much you need, and good sources for it:

Make sure to drink some extra water too!

Anyway, hope that headache has cleared up for you and you were able to get a few things done.

I have about 3 minutes before I need to be out the door for the first round of swim classes today. All together I have 5 of them.
The headache finally went away when I remembered to take something for it. LOL :smilielol5: Though by the time I did I think my brain was "sore" so never did feel alright. :nopity:
Could have been a combination of needing a bit of caffiene (Ladybug) and being overly tired from not getting enough sleep for 3 nights straight.
I was pretty exhausted when I went to bed on Monday and didn't want to get up on Tuesday. So maybe that was it. Who knows?
All I know is now I feel fine and that is wonderful.
Did jump on the elliptical this morning for 30 minutes with an added 5 minutes for cool down. Burning off 520 cals in the process.
Well I will jump on here later in between classes.

Okay so I have a few more minutes! LOL
First. Sorry to everyone that I have not been to anyones' diaries here lately. I have just either been extremely busy or extremely tired. I will try to do better before this week is out.
Aside from the headache yesterday the day went well. Though I think that I am only going to shoot for 25 fiber today as yesterday I think I really overdid it. My tummy was hurting and I really think I need to poo. LOL
I am weighing heavier today than I did at last weeks weigh-in. :(
We went out last night for my stepson's 17th bday. We decided to take him to The Texas Roadhouse. I thought that I did pretty well. I could have done better but I didn't think my choices were too bad.
I had the grilled salmon and a side of California Blend and also a house salad minus the croutons. Told them to keep the dressing and the cheese on the side. I did however have 2 of their delish rolls with some of the special butter that they mix up right there at the place.
Over all I didn't think that I did too bad.
So the only thing that I can figure is keeping that scale from moving is the FIBER.
I guess I probably overdid it and now I am paying for it.
I tired on this dress that has been hanging in my closet for the past 8 years. I bought it to wear on our original trip to Puerto Rico and never had the chance. I was too big even back then. I have always called it my "Puerto Rico Dress". The sad thing is that I have now been to Puerto Rico 3 x's since I bought that dress and was unable to wear on any of the trips.
SO IT STILL HAS THE TAGS ON IT!
Anyhow I tried it on last night and it actually fit! Didn't feel overly tight anywhere or seem to be pulling at the seams. Though I think that I would "feel" better in it if it flowed a bit more.
I think that I am going to shoot towards wearing it for Easter. Though Dh does seem to think that it will be too chilly to wear it at that time of the year. I told him if nescessary I would buy a sweater wrap or some such thing. 'Cuz I am going to wear it!
Well I have another swim class in 30 minutes so I need to be heading on out of here. Only one more after this one and then of course my PowerCore class.
What a busy day! Whew!!!
Oh that reminds me. My instructor for my PowerCore class, Kelly, is starting up a new class called Body for Life. It is going to be 20 minutes of cardio, 20 minutes of free weights and 20 minutes of deep stretches.
She used to be a bodylifting competitor so this sounds right up her alley.
Someone told me that the class is really really hard. And that it would be a shock to my system. I told them that was what I wanted......to shock my body right on down to 165.
She can only take 7 people so I hope that I can get myself signed in on time.

That powercore class sounds really good. I hope you can get in the class.

I don't think fiber will make your weight go up--if anything it should go down due to all the bathroom activity. :D Although, Sweatpea is right about not dramatically increasing your fiber. If you hadn't been getting enough of it before the bonus, I wouldn't go crazy with it. 25-35g is plenty. 40 would be excessive unless your body's used to it.

Glad that headache is gone and that you're feeling good today. I like the idea of wearing that dress for Easter. Your hubby seems to be rather hard on you. Tell him to take a :chillpill: lol

Keep up all the great work! You're an exercise machine these days! :smash:
 
First Off I feel the same way, with all this fiber I'm getting this week, the bathroom scene is a little less to be desired! OIY! I'm up a little on the scale to as of this morning, and what is up with that RIGHT? It might be that aunt flo is coming any day now and that's it, but it could also be all the fiber I'm putting in. Either way, I hope we both get good results come Friday.

Oh and Texas Roadhouse is AWESOME!! I always get the pork chops, California blend, and sweet potato, MMMMMM My H usually splits the pork chops with me, as they pile it up on there, and after the roll and nuts how can you fit anymore in your belly right?? Oh, plus the 2 gallons of water I always tend to drink during that hour. LOL LOL Love that place, and so do my boys, they get the Ribs usually.

Well, Happy B-Day to your son, and I hope your day is a good one, with NO Headaches!!
