I'm sitting here feeling so blech right now, TOM came for a visit...wish it would forever go away (since I don't really need it anymore!) Ha!

We all HATE drivers License pictures, they stink in a big way!! however, that just reminded me of a program I caught last week on the Biography channel, it was called "Being Victoria Beckham" or something like that and well she was going into a DMV in California to get her license, and when they told her to go up by that board for her picture, she stood there and did this really sexy model pose and pouty lips, I laughed my ass off, then she told the lady she wanted to see it, then she bitched about how bad it looked and she wanted a retake, and the lady at the counter told her, "mam" this is a DMV, we don't do rechecks here. LOL LOL I must have pee'd my pants. It was crazy!! Friggen VAIN celebrities. LMAO I hope your day is a GOOD ONE!! I know your scale is going to show some good results by the end of the week. Keep it up girlfriend!

Hey all~
I really thought that when the MIL left that things would slow down. But alas they have not. SIGH :rolleyes:
Dh had a retreat scheduled for this weekend so much of our time this week was spent getting things in order for when he was not going to be here. He won't be back until late Monday night!
That and I basically lost a day this week with MIL not leaving until Tuesday.
Soooo I did not necessarily get in all the exercise that I would have liked this week. Though I did get on the elliptical last night at the last minute (10pm) and hammered out a 30 minute workout. Keeping the strides in about the 68 range. Also got on the Ab Dolly and did 2 sets of 10. One set with planks and the other just a bit quicker as my abs were really feeling it. Since I am not "feeling" a burn today I am going to assume that I need to up my reps or my length of time on my planks.
You would think that I would be able to get my butt up in the morning and get the workout done early. But I think after spending the last 1 1/2 years having to get up at 2:45am my body is just revolted by the thought of getting up even a little bit before it absolutely has to. Currently I HAVE to be up by 7am to get the kiddos off to school. So I pretty much don't crawl outta bed until 6:50-6:55. SIGH
It's not even like I don't like the workouts. I actually feel soooo energized afterwards. I just can't seem to get up! Think I may have to move the alarm across the room........force myself outta bed. Or at the very least Dh will then, since he definately doesn't want to get up that early and won't stand to listen to the alarm going off. LOL LOL
For food so far today I have had:
Homemade French Toast 2 slices @ 76 calories each with no butter and Splenda sprinkled on top,
A McDonald's Snack Wrap~grilled~no sauce w/ a parfait no granola,
Two coffee's with low-fat vanilla flavoring
and about 34ozs water.
Not sure what will be for dinner as it will be on the run.
But so far so good.
I am hoping to see a move on the scale this week. But if not I will just keep at it!
Did go and help out at dd school today. I am so enjoying that. The kids are so sweet and it sure does boost ones self-esteem having so many little adoring fans! Played outside at recess with them today by jumping rope. I haven't jumped rope like that in years. We were doing all sing songy chants. Cinderella dressed in yella, Teddy Bear Teddy Bear, as well as Down by the river where the green grass grows. I am currently thinking about possibly applying for a teachers aide position. Of course dh and I need to talk it over some before that will happen.
Well anyways I need to get going if I am going to make it on time to my Master Gardner Class. Tonight we are all about the herbs. Looking forward to that one.

Anyway, I think for as busy as you have been, you are doing great.

Sorry to have let you down by not showing up at the MG class, but besides the PT conference, it's TTOM, and I didn't want to mess with that too - plus since I ate at the Mexican restaurant, I wanted to work those cals off.

We did good there, since we shared a fajita meal, but you never know. Oh and the LG Senor is so much better than the KVille one, it's like they changed something at Kville. I don't know just what, but it's not like it used to be.

Anyway, I won't be able to chat with you, unless I call while I'm on the bus. I will talk to you Sat. though.

I'm sure you'll do just fine on your next weigh in. Even if you stay at the same weight, your still doing well. NO GAIN is a good thing! I love your new avatar! You take the best pics! the camera loves you, YOUR SO LUCKY! I take horrible pictures every time!! Have a wonderful weekend!!

Just dropping in to let everyone know I am A-OK.
Have to go to work tonight so I already got my 2 hour nap in and I am ready to go.
After not being at work last week and not showing a loss for the better part of almost two weeks my conclusion on losing faster because of the freezer has to be right.
I guess this weekend will show if I am right or wrong.
After I got up from my morning nap I weighed myself in at 212 even!!!
I so want to get out of the teens! I want to be at 200 by Thanksgiving and it looked for a while like I was headed to doing that early but now I am not so sure. Doesn't really matter though. I mean I am not going to beat myself up over it. Just keep plugging away.
Right now I need to clean my house, do 30min on the elliptical, do the ab dolly, shower, pack my lunch, pick up kids from school and head to work. All in the next 2 1/2 hours!!!!!
So I guess I better get crackalacken or I'll never get it all done!!

Are you kidding?? You will be at 200 by Thanksgiving, I BET YOU!! with the way your dropping the pounds, if you stick with it, I'm most certain you will have no problem. Don't get discouraged, just keep plugging along and watch the calories, that seems to work real well for you. And by the way, are you still using the AB roller?? As for the Ab dolly I am not going to lie to you I am a bit more hit and miss than you are. The only place the I can do it is in my kitchen and I can't stand having anyone see me on it. So sometimes the opportunities get missed. Mostly it was because MIL was here and I was self -conscience of it.
But after your amazing 4 inch loss I am beginning to think that I don't care who sees me!!!!!! :rofl:

Reminds me of a song on my MP3 player. Can't quote it for you as my 16y/o son put it on there and it is one that I am unfamiliar with. But talks about how you can do it and how your never alone. That in the end all these people were behind you all the way.

You would have been dying laughing. :rotflmao: You know the guy that works at the golf course..........well I ended up next to him and he was like being so funny because everytime talker man would start in he would lean over and say like, "Maybe they should let him teach the class since he seems to know it all", or "Why is he even here if he already knows how to do it?" :doh:
Talker Man just wouldn't shut up the WHOLE time! The poor lady trying to teach just would look sideways at him and sorta pause and then keep on talking right over the top of him. :argue: You think that he would have figured it out but NOOOOOO. Just kept on talking!

Okay so I am feeling silly this morning or I guess it's afternoon since I have to be leavin' in about 30 minutes.
It really sucks that my kids have to spend this entire weekend with a sitter and not a parental unit. :( But there is not much that I can do about that with Daddy being gone. I mean someone has to bring home the bacon right? Even if it is frozen!!! Hehehehe

Yesterday at work they had pizza for us. Two to three slices each. If we wanted them.
I said, "NO!"
I love, love, love pizza. It's one of my fav foods. Or use to be.
Knowing that they were going to have the pizza there I went ahead and packed my lunch. As soon as I found out that they would be serving the pizza starting at 7:30pm I made the decision to have my break 45 minutes earlier. Outta sight , outta mind!
There were a few people we thought I was crazy for eating nothing but some turkey and California blend (along with a few other things :rolleyes:).
This new way of eating has now become normal. I didn't feel deprived in any way at all last night.
I am so proud of myself.
 
Yay! Bell I'm proud of you too.

I on the other hand did have pizza last night. :(
 
Way to go on the will power Bell!! I myself would have had ONE slice at least, that's usually what I have, then I move on to something else. I love pizza and I hope to never give up that food. :D Great job, you do have will power of steel. YIKES!! Your going to lose in no time!!! Hope the rest of your day is a great one~
