Bellaryna's Journey

Sounds like you had a great workout tonight.

We gave up on making our kids take walks/rides with us because we found out that our outings turn out much nicer w/o them. ;) Of course when they were younger it was nicer because they actually wanted to go for a walk.

As far as grape nuts, blech! I've tried those but can't digest them no matter what I do with them. Kudos for you to get the kids to like them though. I'll take my fiber one over the grape nuts any day. But, I know a lot of people that do like them.

Hey Bell!
That walk sounds like fun with the family, I remember those days and miss them big time!! And on the grape nuts, I'm not a fan either, but I do love my shredded wheat and honey bunches of oats. mmmmmm! great for you getting the kids to like them, but I'm still thinking honey nut cheerios sound better. lOL LOL throw in a banana and WOW that's a perfect meal.

I'm sure you'll see some weight loss with all the working out your doing and the toning. BUT.....don't get discourage if it's only a slight loss, as with all the weights your doing, I'm sure all the fat is converting to muscle and well we all know muscle weighs more than fat, so you'll be looking nice and toned!! I remember when I went through that for about two months, I lost major inches but my weight loss was very slow. Good luck to you, I know you'll weigh in just fine!!
Hugs
Kim

If they were small enough I would leave them ALL home! LOL
The thing was that A-man said he would go on the walk and then decided that he wanted to bringhis skateboard along. We had already told the other 2 that there would be no wheels of any kind. As they both wanted to ride bikes. So we had to tell A that he couldn't bring the skateboard and of course he got grumpy over it.
Oh Well. Such is the life of a teenager. Full of Angst.
As far as the Grape Nuts go I don't seem to get the results :biggrinjester: from them that I do with my Fiber One so will most likely scrape the idea of having them soley for cereal. I orginially bought them to just sprinkle on top of my yogurt parfait that I was making.

I am beginning to think that is what is going on here lately. As I haven't really lost much weight but it would seem that I am possibly getting smaller as lots of my clothes seem to be getting baggier on me.
I have never really taken the time to measure myself so have nothing to really base any numbers on. Though hubby did "measure" me once :biggrinjester:.
Who knows though how accurate those numbers were! LOL
Thanks for poppin' in on me!

I'm sure you are balancing yourself out with all the exercise you are getting. But, fat doesn't turn to muscle. The fat cells shrink and the muscle mass increases. You can't change one to the other. You're building muscle mass and shrinking those fat cells!!!

I am sure that I am building muscle. And that would definately make up for the non-drop in weight. As I know that I am not eating poorly.
But it sure would be nice to see a lower number on the scale. LOL
Maybe tomorrow. As long as my clothes keep getting bigger I won't worry about it to much.

Well I never did get to that walk. My dd wanted me to sit down and watch a movie with her and after the kids were all in bed I decided it was a good time to head to the grocery store.
So far this week I have:
Fri-0
Sat-0
Sun-0
Mon-1hr
Tues-2hr
Wed-0

So I will need to kick it into gear tomorrow and finish out with 1hr and 17 minutes to get to Moscow.
I have had 3 outta the 5 cups of cabbage so will only need to eat 2 more. Which won't be a problem as I made soup today and there is just enough left to finish this out. Just like I planned it.
Well it is bedtime and I am really really tired here lately. I am sure that it has something to do with the time change.
So I will be chatting at everyone later!
Ciao

Hi Bella!
Looks like you're doing great on the challenge! You're always so determined, I really admire you.

Awww! How very sweet of you India!
Thanks alot I really appreciate that. Your doing fab as well you know. And are also extremely determined. Remember you did walk away from an aisle full of chips without buying any!

So the sun is SHINING today. Right from the start of the day.
I can't wait to get out there and take a walk. I love when the sun is shining thru the windows of the house. It just brings my spirits up so much.
I weighed myself this morning, okay I weigh myself everyday just today is the day for the challenge. So only today's weight is the one that counts the most. Unless of course tomorrow's weight is lower. Then I will use that one instead.
So anyhow I weighed in at 188.8lbs. That puts me at about 1 1/2lbs lost since last week. With a total weight loss of 41.2 since August. I would love to hit that 165 by mid-May, I just don't know that I can. I sure am going to try though.
So today is a cleaning day here at home. With one Pre-School swim class to do today I am hoping to get all the laundry caught up as well as general picking up around the house.
So since I really don't have alot of time to be on here today I am going to be heading off.
Hope that everyone has a great day!

I also love when the sun is shining bright right from sunrise. I hope you get everything done as planned today, and congrats on the 1.5 lbs lost since last week. And 41.2 lbs since August?? That is excellent!!

PS. Are you still in the Summer Solstice Challenge?? You checked in...but did not put in your weight. Just curious.

Yeah!! sunshine and weight loss all together, it just doesn't get any better than that right~~ :beating:

It's sunny here today also, and I couldn't be more pleased! It sure helps lift my umf to get to the gym, I hate going when it's nasty outside it just puts me in a mood. HAHAHAHA

I think a lot of people are going to do so well on the weigh in I can't wait!!

Have a wonderful day today.

That's true, I did! But you know, I try not to think too much of myself, or I know I would relax too much and lose momentum. :)

The sun is shining here as well looks like spring is starting all around the world! I hope it'll find us more beautiful and shining than ever.

Dang! I'm sorry I missed the Michigan trip. Which city did you go to? I might have been able to have met you for lunch or something. Oh well. There's still Shipshewana. :D

You are such a busy woman, it makes my head spin. :willy_nilly:

Are you gonna be able to squeeze in that last bit of exercise? Just wondering, because I can do some of it if you need me to.

Nice job being down 1.5lbs--and you've still got one more day to make it 2lbs..lol. :D

I had to head up to Marshall. Not to bad of a trip when you think of the time it took to get there. Just about 2 hours. If I lived closer to I-69 I would have been there much faster.
If I had know you would have been interested in getting together earlier I would have dropped you a line on it.
But your right there is always Shipshewana! LOL
I will most definately get all the exercise in tonight at my Fit for Life class. As we always run over on the time and all I need to finish out my exercise is 1 hour and 17 minutes. So even if it runs close I can jump on the elliptical at home. If needs be.
I do appreciate the offer though.
And of course you know I got your back if you need me to pick up any extras for you during this challenge.

Hi Bell!

Just stopping by to say hello. :) It is nice the sun has been shining all day and the temps are beautiful.

If you all get together in Shipshe, I'm there - just make sure not to plan it while I'm away on training!!

Look at Sweatpea and her gorgeous face, wow she's beautiful, you ladies have the best genes! Hope your day was a good one Bell, can't wait to see everyones progress tomorrow. GOOD LUCK!
Kim

LOL! No need to get on the elliptical tonight--I did an extra 40 minutes today just in case, so your Fit for Life class should cover it, as you only need 40 min now. :D In a way, I'm glad I didn't read your post before I hit the gym. Otherwise, I am pretty sure I wouldn't have done the extra exercise--and heaven knows I could use it..lol :biggrinjester:

I've never been to Marshall, and I've heard it has tons of cute historic homes, so I might've dropped H off at work and taken the car to meet you. But with gas the way it is, it's probably better for my bank acct that I didn't. :D

Awe, thanks you're too kind. :)
