Thanks for stopping by Kim!
Sure did miss you this past week. :angelsad2:
I can't believe that the weight isn't just pouring off of you since you work out harder than anyone I know. Cyber or real-life.
I'm hoping I see that 197 again. Went to Sweatpea's yesterday for lunch and had leftover Turkey Day stuff. Needless to say I ate better at my Thanksgiving than I did at hers!!!! LOL LOL :smilielol5:
But with some hard work and some of that determination of yours (hope you don't mind if I borrow it for a while :) ) I'll get there.
Hey did you see my pics that I posted last week? They showed my progress from this summer to now.
Anywho gotta go!
Catch ya later.:seeya:

I'm feeling pretty tired this morning.
Didn't roll in this morning until about 4:30 then had to get up at 7. So there wasn't much sleep going on last night.
Dh chose this morning to start nitpicking :cuss: at me about the house and the laundry. Which I thought was a bit comical (read much sarcasm here) as he was home all for the Thanksgiving holiday same as me. If he wanted to get things done he could have jumped in anytime.
But "noooooo" this morning he had to make a huge blanket statement about how he will have to get this house all cleaned up.
I just told him since it would seem that he was going to be doing all the work, cleaning the house and all, that perhaps I would just go and take a nap.
Bad idea on his part to nitpick when I have had only 2.5 hours of sleep. :icon_bs:
Weighed in at 199.8 this morning. :ack2:
I am sure that it is due to all the festivities from the weekend. That and lately I have taken to drinking more coffee than water. :banghead: Gotta get that trend switched back around.
I have my out-patient surgery this Wednesday. So if I am not around much it will be because of that. I am going to try and get my exercise in for the challenge ahead of time but who knows. Most likely I won't make the bonus this week.
Well I am just rambling on cuz' I am tired and I have waaaaay too many things that need to be done. So I am gonna go check a few diaries and get too Crack~a~lacken!
Catch ya all later!

HI Bella,
2.5 hrs of sleep!! I would be a grouch for the whole day and hubby knows better not even cross my path...
My hubby is always on my a$$ about the house, my shoes, my stuff on the counter... i think he is an undiagnosed obsessive-compulsive person. Man, I can't leave my slippers anywhere else but their "designated" place or he will flip out. He constantly organizes and re-organizes (mind you it's MY STUFF) so I can't find anything... which makes me quite mad. I have to remind him quite often that "I live here too". Anyway I agree with you: hubby has two hands also is quite capable of doing stuff that needs to be done...

I wish you luck with your surgery and make sure you are not overdoing it as far exercise goes, just take care of yourself.
You are still in the 100's, don't fret the scale..
Have a great day!!
Hajni

Hi Bellaryna

Now we are team-mates we will get to know each other. I think that our team is going to have the most fun.

Take care
Best wishes
Margaret

Thanks Haj!
I am so glad that there is someone else out there who understands.
Hubby never used to be this way. It has only been since he became a minister. He can't stand the thought that someone may drop in at any moment and *GASP* the house may not be up to snuff.
I say they don't come to see the house.
They know we have 3 kids.
They know that we both work full-time.
And most importantly......
they're house looks exactly like ours unless "they know" someone is coming over. Just like the rest of the world.
Thanks for the well wishes. I don't think that I will have too bad a time with the recovery. They said that it could take anywhere from 6-24 hours to be feeling better. Of course I am hoping for 6!!!!
Thanks for stopping by!
Catch ya later!

How fun that I get to be cyber pen-pals with someone from England. Someday I will get to see all these great places that are on my list and England is one of them!
Thanks for stopping by!

Be sure and let me know when you are coming over here.

I have been really looking forward to the teams being picked for days.

I have got all my bonus exercise in already - so the big question is - can I lose some weight?????

HI Bella,

i know your surgery is today, so i am just popping in here to wish you luck and hope the recovery is quite un-eventful and quick.
let us know.

Hi Bellaryna

A team member having surgery!!! Oh I do hope it all goes well and you feel much better soon.

Dont worry if you havent got your exercise in - I dropped points earlier in the challenge when I didnt lose weight. We can only do our best.

Get well soon.

And by the way - I glanced at a couple of entries in your diary. My house is a mess. I have told my hubby that it can stay that way until I have lost weight. I go out walking every day instead of doing any housework.

Take care
Love
Margaret

Hey missy, the only thing leftover was the turkey in the chili and the one piece of pumpkin pie - all else was made specially for you guys!!!!

Hope to hear from you soon, I'm hoping all went well with the procedure.

Hello Everyone!!! :waving:
Thanks for stopping by Omega, Sweatpea and Hajni! I really appreciate it!

I made it thru!!!! It wasn't nearly as bad as I had anticipated. In fact I had no pain whatsoever!
Tho I was dizzy and a bit nauseated. :willy_nilly: :puke:
I can't wait to see how well it worked. I won't find out for at least a couple of weeks. Anything has got to be better then what I have been dealing with all my life.
So far this week I only have 2 hours and 15 minutes in for exercise. I think that I may try to get on our elliptical later today or tomorrow. Had hoped to feel up to it this morning but I am still feeling a bit dizzy and I don't really want to fall off the dumb thing!!! :biggrinjester: I didn't even go in to the school today to volunteer in dd's class. Just didn't want to take any chances of suddenly NOT feeling well. And it was right thing to do cuz' the dizzy thing didn't start until about 45 minutes ago.
I didn't eat much yesterday but the things that I did eat weren't exactly low-calorie. Though they did have me eat a light lunch before I could leave the hospital that couldn't of had to many calories because the chix noodle soup that I had was sooooo tasteless. It was like slurping warm water with noodles. SO GROSS!!!
And I had to eat it to leave! YUCK!!! The only other thing that was even worth eating was the chocolate pudding.
Dh was a GEM all day. Letting me sleep all day and bringing me things to eat and drink. He even went and did the grocery shopping so I wouldn't have to worry about it. :Angel_anim:
I have weighed myself everyday and everyday it has been more then the previous day. I am thinking that it was a bit of nerves due to the surgery and the fact that because of the nerves I haven't exactly been "regular". If you get my drift. LOL
So I am hoping that by Saturday things will be back to normal.
We'll see.
Well since there isn't much else to tell I think that I will go and cruise some diaries.
Thanks for stopping by!

Oh Bell, I'm sorry I didn't realize your surgery was coming up so quickly. I pray you have a SPEEDY recovery and get to feeling yourself real soon! :grouphug:

And I'm sure all your insides are super swollen right now and will probably take a few weeks to get back down, and then you'll probably see some serious weight loss again, I'm sure of it!

Don't wear yourself out trying to exercise to quickly, take your time and relax, surgery is hard on the bod.

I hope you have a relaxing day today, maybe snuggle up on the couch with a warm cup of tea and a nice book. AHHHHHH That sounds lovely!! I know RIGHT we all wish.... HUGS TO YOU MY DEAR!
Kim:grouphug:

Awww Thanks for the well wishes Kim!!
Your the bestest!!!!
As for snuggling on the couch do you think snuggling under all the laundry would be ok? LOL
Cuz' there sure is alot of it!
Thanks again sweetie!

OOOOOOHHHH Right out of the dryer pile, AHHHHH nice and warm and clean, OH YEAH!! LOL LOL Hide from the family for a little bit too, get some me time. LOL LOL

Ya your right, it must be folded and put away, I'm like that too, but still sounds nice!

Hi Bellaryna

I am pleased that the surgery was not as bad as you anticipated and you are improving.

The really important thing is that you take things easy

As far as not being regular goes - I certainly understand that. This is one reason why I eat more raisins than everyone else put together - most days I eat about 900 calories of raisins. Check out my diary for the challenge dates when we were counting calories if you dont believe me. It may amuse you.

When I asked my doctor about it ages ago (despite eating vast quantities of cereal, fruit and veg) I was told that I should drink more water.

I was more concerned about the constipation from the pain perspective than the fact that it probably increased my weight slightly while things were stuck in transit.

The last thing that you want to do is push yourself for the challenge. Dont push yourself to exercise unless and until you really feel up to it. I certainly understand (and I am positive that the other team members agree) that if the only points you get this week are negative because of a weight gain due to being swollen and possibly a little nervous comfort eating - then that is just fine. I doubt that I could get other than negative points in such circumstances (I am the comfort eating queen).

Take care
Love
Margaret

Ended up not going to work last night. :angelsad2:
I was continually having these headaches :banghead:that just wouldn't go away. No matter what. I am not sure if they were caused by being put out for the surgery or if it was feeling so exhausted all the time.
Today seems to be a better day.
I will have to go to work today regardless of how I feel. Though I could get away with not working since once you miss one day all the others are paid with sick pay. I just don't want to waste my sick pay on headaches.
I kept weighing myself all week and everyday was more than the last until I was all the way up to 207-208. Finally yesterday morning the numbers started to go back down. I was really scared there for awhile wondering where the number was going to stop at. I really didn't want it to stop in the 200's.
I am happy to report that as of this morning I now weigh .2 less then I did last Saturday. 198.2 :hurray:
Not enough to log in any points for the Christmas Challenge but at least there weren't any negative points involved. And it didn't stop in the 200's!!!!
I am actually feeling like I have some energy and may just jump on my elliptical for 20 minutes or so to get back into the swing of things.
I won't be able to teach the swim class for about 2 weeks so l will definately have to pump up the cardio to make up for that.
Oooh I almost forgot. Hubby weighed in at his WW meeting on Tuesday and lost an amazing 9.8 pounds in his first week. The week of Thanksgiving that is!!!!!
I am so proud of him. :hurray: :biggrinjester:
Well I need to get going. Things to do before I head off to work and that elliptical is calling!
Hope everyone had a Great Weekend!!:party:
