Hope work this weekend didn't kick your butt too horribly much. I'm not sure how the weather is now where you live but it's getting pretty cold here and I guess we're supposed to be mixed rain & snow tomorrow! :ack2:

Great job with the water! I was doing so well with it, but latley, I'm only getting 75% of my water in . . maybe its the weather.

I noticed I too started to struggle with the water as the weather got colder. So now I just chug one down as soon as I get up and make sure to chug one right before bed. That way I only have to worry about 2 20 ouncers thru-out the day. And since I no longer drink pop it tends to be easy to hit that goal.

I am so glad that he didn't give me grief this time around. When he wouldn't cut it and it was hanging in his face I just hated it. Guess he finally figured out that only a few guys actually look good with long hair and he is not one of them. LOL

Work royally sucked this weekend. I ended up working 27 1/2 hours in about 48 hours. So needless to say I am a bit tired. :sleeping:
And yes it is getting cold here to. Brrrrr!
They are calling for us to have a rain/snow mix as well. YUCK! Hopefully it will just pick one element and stick with it. I hate it when we get the slushy stuff.

eeeek! I would definitely not be able to handle that much work in that short amount of time. :( Hope you got atleast some sleep!!!
And I can definitely agree with wishing that it'll just stick to one or the other. I'll hope for rain. lol. But knowing my luck, it'll be snow. I'm like within a few hundred feet to lake ontario sooooo I get the good ole lake effect pretty bad. :p ugh, why can't it stay spring/summer/fall and just skip out on the winter?! wishful thinking I guess.

Hey There Bell!! I'm with you and when the weather gets cold, I tend to lay off the water a bit, even though I to do NOT drink soda, I'm trying to drink not cold, cold water, but luke warm, it makes it easier for me, as I love Hot tea, so I'm used to it.

Sucks about the work load, WOW hopefully your still able to get in plenty of shut eye, that's most important!! I read that your weather is getting cold, BRRRRR I don't miss snow/sleet at all, it's really nice here around 72 degrees and sunny, I'm sure it won't last long, it rarely **Kim throwing some warmth your way****

Man what a crappy weekend! :ack2:
My weekends usually don't run so badly but now that we lost the boss who had been doing his postion for the past 2 years and gained the 2 new bosses who have a combined 4 months experiance, (with the new main boss only having 2 weeks!) I guess I wasn't surprised.
I worked 10 hours on Friday, 12 hours on Saturday and 13 hours on Sunday.
And in all that Friday night I got maybe 6 hours of sleep, Saturday even with the rolled back hour I only got 5 hours 'cuz I get up and go to church on Sunday and then last night about 3 1/2. :willy_nilly:
So I am really really really tired! :sleeping:
Thru it all I only screwed up my calories once. I didn't plan to be at work so long on Friday and ended up getting a couple things from the vending machine. And when it was all said and done it tasted like crap anyway and wasn't nearly worth all the calories. I ended up with about 600 more calories than I would have normally ate. :(
But there is a SILVER LINING to this weekend. I got up and weighed myself today and I am at 201.6! :party:
That is a 1.4 pound loss since Saturday. I just might make it thru and make my goal for the Christmas Challenge! :santa:
Already today I swam for 1/2 hour and raked leaves for about 45-60 minutes. And I have Pilates tonight. :hurray:

I am on the verge of "ONE"DERLAND!!! :drool5:
I haven't been letting myself dwell on it to much because then I would tend to obsess. And right now I just really want to relish that feeling when I cross over from the 200's into the 100's.
One funny thing that did happen this weekend was I had a box (48 full-sized bars) of Caramello Bars. I went around to everyone on the Receiving side and even hit the Q/A offices and handed those puppies out.
I had people asking me why and I just told them because I wanted too.
It was funny the looks on their faces like they couldn't believe that someone would want to do something so nice. That and I had a few of the girls accuse me of trying to fatten them up while I am getting skinny! LOL I just told them about the Dear God Prayer. You know the one. Dear God if you can't make me skinny could you make all my friends fat! They just laughed!
Well that is my weekend in a nutshell. I need to go pick-up my kiddos from school so will try to cruise thru some diaries a bit later.

I imagine some of you may have thought that I fell off the face of the earth here recently but fear not I am still here!
Just been a busy few days! LOL And that's no understatement!
Between working all those freaking hours this past weekend and being absolutely exhausted all day Monday because of it I just didn't have the energy to try and post yesterday.
Things are going good on the weight loss front. Weighed in at like 204 this morning but I am sure that is only water/salt weight as the stew that dh made last night was a small bit salty. So I am not worried at all.
Had my pilates class last night and it wasn't nearly as hard as it was that first couple of weeks. Though I do still struggle ALOT in the boat pose. Considering how my abs are so weak I am suprised that I am able to stand at all! LOL:rotflmao: That and I am quite sure that I have a roundy butt!!!! Kinda like a Weeble. You know Weebles wobble but they don't fall down!
So my tailbone is a bit sore from "wobbling". Other than that though I was impressed with my ability to stick with the push-ups where you have a ball under one hand. I think we did like 18 of them on each arm. That 1st night I think I did like 4. So that is a major improvement. Woohoo!
Now if I could only get myself to balance on the ball better, especially when we are just putting our heels on it and lifting our rumpy ends. Seems all I do on that front is shake like crazy and wobble all over the place. :willy_nilly:
My instructor is great in that she is always telling me that I can do the modified stuff if I have to but I don't WANT to do the modified stuff I WANT to be able to kick butt with the usual way you do the things.
Missed out on my cardio today as I had an appt with the Gyno about my "procedure" that will take Auntie Flo away forever. Ended up waiting forever in the waiting room :toetap05:, then having to go thru the usual PAP. Lucky me I also got to do an ultrasound :eek:(and not on top the tummy either if you get my drift) to determine if I would be a good candidate for the procedure.
It appears that everything is looking good so sometime before the end of the year, probably sooner, I will be Auntie Flo free. Now that is something to look forward too. :hurray:
It had gotten freakin' cold here in the last 2 days and royally sucks. With the wind the temp is hoving right around 32*. Brrrrrrrrr!
I hate winter. Especially since I work in a freezer. Now I am cold at work, in the car and at home all the time. It SUCKS!!! :ack2:
Even though I havn't found the time to get my food posted on here this week I am still keeping track at home. Things are still looking good. So hopefully with my pre-drop this week it will show on Saturday that I have a loss for the Challenge. Well I better get going. I need to get ready to go over to SweatPea's. She is having a party of sorts where you can buy jewlery. So sounds like a fun night.

I am getting tired just looking at the hours you put in in one strech. I will remember you next time when I am complaining about my 8 hr horrible day LOL.
Sounds like you are going strong and steady!! Congrats on those exercises and man Pilates is HARD.. I have a tape I used to do and I did it forever and there is a move on there where you lay on your back and have to lift both of your legs off the floor and touch it down behind your head...well that was a fast forward for me... I can't imagine ever being able to do it. :smilielol5:
In boot camp we use the ball and that is another killer. I never thought you can do some many things with a round innocent looking thing!!
And your push ups are impressive. I can only do like 6 of the modified (where my knees are on the floor) ones before I collapse.

Going like you are, You MUST have a loss by Saturday, I am sure of it.

The instructor likes to keep the room warm anyway so then when you are working out you are really really sweating! :p
So yep I get nice and hot. But then I gotta come back to my semi-warm house. At least there are HOT baths!!!!

I just feel like I can't even catch my breathe this week! :svengo:
Between running to doctor visits, volunteering at dd's school, swim lessons and my pilates class I feel like I am always on the go! LOL
Add to that the extra vigilance I have of watching my new 8 wk old puppy every waking moment and some not so waking :sleeping:, I feel like I am on a never ending merry-go-round.
Just barely finding the time as it is to even try to read MY diary.
I weigh myself every morning but really only count what it says on Saturdays. The official day for our challenge weigh-ins.
I did get up this morning and was right back at 201.6 sooooo I have to believe that there will be a really good number on Saturday.
Well I gotta go chop up a chicken. Having home-made chicken soup for supper tonight. Mmmmmmm so yummy. I already rotissered the chicken so it ought to be a snap to finish it up.

I can only hope that next week won't be as busy but I have already seen the future in my day planner and it looks about the same. If not a bit more so! :svengo: Sigh! What's a mom to do? LOL :blush5:
At least next weeks challenge will be a breeze for me. As I always keep my calories within 1250-1550 anyways.
I jumped on the scale this morning and I was crusin' right at 202. I can't believe how close I am to "one"derland. I think that when I finally hit it, it will be very surreal. Not sure that I will make it next week as TOM should be arriving right in the middle of the week.
I should have gone and done my weight routine today but I am feeling tired. TOM again. I always have a bad "tired" week prior to the arrival. Also been feeling really really snacky. For the most part I am holding it off with jello and whipped cream for the sweet side and popcorn for the salty.
Stopped by my hubby's office yesterday to say "hey" at him (for those who do not know he is a minister) and saw that my Secret Sis had left me a little surprise. I LOVE presents! Now apparently she doesn't realize that I am trying to lose weight or she just thinks everyone deserves a 1/2# Chocolate bar with Almonds and Toffee bits in it. Every present I have received from her so far has this Chocolate bar in it. Except this time our Senior Minister got nosey and rooted thru my gift bag, found my bar and wrote on it in big black marker, "TEMPTATION.........DO NOT YEILD!" and then put his intials!!!!! I was laughing so hard! :smilielol5:
So I went into his office and asked if he would like some of the candy. Gave him some squares (4 squares were 190 cals! YIKES) and then shared it with all the other office staff. Only having 2 squares myself.
It is getting easier and easier to not eat that stuff. Here lately there are no cravings for it at all. So even when it is sitting right in front of me I just don't want it.
Today is a back to work day. I imagine that the hours will most likely mirror last weekends hours. So I won't be on here at all until at least Tuesday.
Well except to update for the challenge :santa: tomorrow but then that's it.

And let me tell you it was probably a good thing since I think I may have been able to run over one of my supervisors if I was given 1/2 a chance. LOL
They have just been screwing things up left and right. And now they are messing with all my production numbers. If we fall below a 95% for more than 2 weeks we get wrote up. Get wrote up enough times and it's "see ya".
So right now I am seeing RED!!!
My production for last week fell all the way from a 110% to 85%. All because they kept moving me from one area to another so I was never able to really get going on any one thing.
So like I said I am glad to be home. Gonna take some time and go spend it with my hubby. (hint hint) I know that when I came in the door that was his first thought! LOL
Anywho I wieghed in this morning first thing and I weighed 201.4. I went back to bed and got up like 1 1/2 hours later and for kicks and giggles weighed again and came in at a flat 201. I had already updated for the Holiday Challenge but now wonder if I am allowed to go back and put in the new #. Especially since it was only like an hour and a half later. Anyone have any ideas on that?
So anyway even if I can't submit it that OFFICALLY puts me at 29 pounds lost!!!! I am so excited about that. :biggrinjester:
My orginal mini-goal was to hit 30 pounds down by Thanksgiving and it appears that I will make it.
This only gives me even more "ooomph" for the Holiday Challenge as I want to be at 185 by Christmas.
Well it seems that dh has "gone to bed" so that is my que to get off the 'puter!
