before shots

I jumped on my friends WII fit 2 days ago thinking I was a whole 14lbs lighter than I actually am. what a shock. Before my 3rd baby (born 12/07) i pretty much hovered around 145 - I wasn't happy but i lived with it, I knew that a bit of hard work at the gym would do me the world of good but then I got pregnant - and LAZY. i thought tht breastfeeding would take all the weight off as it had done with my previous 2 kids -NOPE!!! So here I am after a piggy christmas and lazy six weeks of wallowing in self pity and wine at 162lbs. Its my 30th in April and I want to be at least half way by then. I am so glad i found this forum, and found especially ktjean430's posts inspiarational. I nearly cried when I saw these shots of myself but am so glad I did. i haven't looked at my body since the begining of 2007. There is no point putting my head in the sand and ignoring this, I have to get on top of it! Okay, here they come - don't laugh. xx

Welcome to the community. :)

I think you have a perfectly fine canvas to start your art! You're beautiful. This is your starting point. It will only get better from here.

Best to you.

I agree with Steve. You have nice curves, a pretty face and many other great features already. Get serious and work hard and you'll be amazing in short time! Best of luck to you.

Thanks guys for your kind comments. i am so serious about this. Hopefully i shall post back here soon with some amazing 'afetr shots' like others.
Much love to everyone. have a great day

If you're interested, you could start a journal here to log your progress and help you meet new people. People often find accountability by doing so too.

It's up to you though, just a suggestion.

Best to you.

You look already super great... =O
I wonder if Wii fit is a fast method to lose weight.

I am using Dance Dance Revolution (dance game) to lose my weight...
I dance till I can swim in my sweat..

If Wii Fit is a good method to exercise... I would consider to buy one... ^.^

Anyways... GOOD LUCK!

WII fit

I am in two minds whether or not to buy one for keep-fit purposes. I only had a go on it for maybe 5 minutes and I was definately sweating (I was hula hooping) but I am not sure how much progression you would get with it. The hula hoop game only seems to last a few minutes, not really enough for a great workout BUT, like I said I didn't really explore it too much. i guess it would be a good addition to your fitness regime but you probably couldn't substitute your main exercise for it. I still may get one though - a hellava lot of fun!

Blog/ diary

Steve, thats a great idea! Where would you suggest I write it? in this forum? I thhink it would really keep me on track.

Sure, there is a diaries section where many people keep tabs on their programs. Or they use it to just journal whatever it is they feel like journaling.

I'd start one there.

Hi! I think you look pretty great for having birthed 3 babes...You are very pretty & curvy! You will be simply stunning as you follow your fitness plan and move towards your goal!

Best wishes on the road to improved fitness,:auto:

I have a Wii Fit also and say its definitely worth the money. The more you do the more you unlock. The hula hoop part is definitely a good calorie burner. I was pretty beat after a few minutes when I first got it but I go for for 10 minutes now. I find it very helpful that it keeps track of your weight loss. Yes if you put the wii fit board on carpet it says you weigh less than you really do. Mine is about 5lbs different then my bathroom scale on hardwood.
