Wow, you're looking amazing! You've always had a beautiful smile :)
Not only are you losing pounds, you look so much younger & healthier now!

Actually the last picture isn't recent, it is 3 years old. That is how I will look. *sobs* But thank you, that is motivation enough.

What a dynamite smile you have - such joy from within :) and a whole lot of sass to :)

you're awesome- you will absolutely get to hwere you want to be :)

You look GREAT! Our WL goals are similar, and we can both DO IT! You are off to a great start, your loss is quite noticeable so far!

Cheers and best wishes on your journey,
ABBA

You look great in all the pics. The smile is very nice :D. The way you have to see it is that you pretty much might be starting at 200lbs even though you had lost weight when you were sick.

But just think of it at starting at 200lbs, and that you have a "head start". You might not lose a lot to begin with because of the "sick loss" but don't let that discourage you!

Hi busy91!!

You said "My goal weight is 141, but I'd be happy with 150"

Make a definate goal and don't settle for less!!
You are a great looking woman and will feel great when you achieve your goal of 141. You will be happy at 150, but you will be estatic when you reach the 141 goal. welcome to the forums and good luck!!

I'm just not sure if I will look good at 141, it may be too thin, I really won't know until I get there. I used to be 140 when I was in my 20s and I was a tad too thin, I looked good at 150.

Use that 160 pic as encouragement. In the beginning I used to take a skinny pic of myself to the gym and sit it on the book rest and look at it when I felt like I could never accomplish my goal.

You can do it! :)

Good luck and stay strong!

How tall are you? You should consult your doctor about what the right weight for your height is.

I am 6 feet tall.

My doctors know crap. LOL!

In reading books and doing calculations it says that I should be between 141 - 144, that would give me 19% body fat. In a real world, I'm thinking 150, which would probably be around 21% body fat. I want to fit into a size 12, no matter what the weight.

Thanks for this. I really am stalled now. I've been 179/180 for a week, no movement, no matter what I do. I hadn't thought about the sick weight loss. But hey, at least I feel good.

feelng g ood is a good thing :)

one week of no scale movement isn't a cause for concern.. .sometimes it just happens like that...

Looking great.... welcome to the community and best of luck with your goal of finding the skinny you!

And don't spend the time worrying about whether or not you'll look good at 140. You aren't signing contracts here. It's a touch & feel process, learn and realize as you go.

Best to ya!
