Before/Inbetween/Almost After - Pooh Style

Thanks man.

Yea, it's exceptionally healthy. I forget the classing of streams by the EPA but I know it's in the highest tier.

Heh, Exceptionally Healthy is a stream classification... nice. Very nice. I hope you aren't sitting in a flood plane :)

No, we're not. The house is elevated nicely. If the stream ever gets that high I'll be sitting waiting for Noah to go rolling by too.

JD, HOLY CRAP. look at this guy... looking bad ass. congrats to you man. Thanks for the support.
Thanks man! My partner, she's always asking me if I'm running from the police because I frequently change the way I look. I've shaved, so I look nothing like the avatar anymore. It was funny while I had it though. I met up with a bunch of people I hadn't seen in something like 6 months and they literally didn't recognize me at first.

Hey Keith!

I just wanted to tell you that you look great in your wedding pic :) How is the weight training coming? Have you been able to do what you set out to? Hope things are going great for you :)

Damn, can't believe I missed this one. Sorry :(

Thank Ali... I am back to the CUT. I gained some nice weight but as you know the fat comes with it. So I am going back to basics... I am sure it'll work out fine tho. I know what I need to do. I doubt I'll get back to 173... that may have been too thin, but in order to get rid of the muffin top (or as my wife says, The Muffin Man) I might have to drop super low before I bulk again.

How's by you?

You've got to be kidding! Those pictures are both you!!! WOW! you look great! Good for you.. I see you are on the home stretch now... in between did you ever fall of the horse... start gaining back?? That's kinda where I"m at and I want to stop it.. any advice?

what an amazing transformation ! you don't even look like the old you, in any way lol (i mean that in a good way)

Thanks... I mean, I hope I didn't get uglier ;)

Home stretch? No... not even close. However, it's all about perspective I suppose. I don't have a goal weight, just a goal look (which may never happen just because perspectives are skewed in my head). Still, if you ask some family and friends, I lost too much at one point. In my mind, I still have a ways to go in terms of "goals". I think it will be a continual effort... Lose fat/gain muscle, over and over.

As far as falling off the horse... yeah, I did. Last December, I thought in my mind I was following my plans. I got a little more lax on the weekends... and then during the week. I was frustrated I couldn't get under 205 lbs... but I realized it was my fault and I wasn't doing what I needed to do. So I refocused my efforts... I got some sense knocked into me regarding the scale mentality and how to avoid it. I focused on other numbers... my BMR, calories in vs calories out, and measurements of the body. Obviously a lot is estimation, but you can get VERY good at it. To this day, I still weigh out portions...

Most definitely. Last week's game was still fucking awesome. Granted it would have felt great to come out on top... but it proved a lot about the team this year.

I was a little worried once Don and Westbrook were out at the same time.

Updates...

Picture was from December of 2006, about 2 months into my diet.

The other two are from today, me in front of my brand new SMARTBOARD! This thing rocks...

Anyways... lost all of my fat gain from my last bulk (perhaps even a few extra % points as well). Starting to fill out LMM wise. My lifts are heavier (had my all time heavy on the flat bench since I started weight training 215, 4 times on my last set, my goal was 205 for the day) so I hope my body responds like it's a beginner. Doing cardio this time around to minimize the fat gains as well.
