Well i felt its about time i posted some pics of my own.
A few people have been commenting quite a bit on how im looking slimmer, but untill i overlooked the 1st pic id not noticed how much!
I've got to admit this is the hardest thing ive done in a long time, i've been a fair size for aslong as i can remember.
I've tried and failed most diets, but now 4 months in i feel i can definately stick to this one.
The thing that really shocked me into it was after being taken in hospital for both gaulstones and kidney stones mostly due to poor diet and dehydtration my doctor (who hadnt seen me in app 9 years) said i was on the verge of becoming dangerously obese and leading to more and more medical problems.
I started out weighing in at 19st12 (278lbs!!)
I'm now down to 15st10 (220 lbs)
Ideally I'd like to get to a point where i look good on the beach. I've set a goal of 12st (168lbs) But I'll see how i look from now as the final pounds come off.
But for now im happy that after my last checkup with the doctor I've come out of the Dangerously obese section with my bmi and I'm now just on the verge of overweight/fat.
All i've done is restrict my calories, and changed my diet, i figured to be at 168lbs, i need to be cosuming app 2600 calories.
So for a start i tired to consume exactly that, but i wasnt loosing weight very quickly (lucky to shift 1lb every 2 weeks)
So i tried for 2200, and allow myself to peak at 2600 on a day where the cravings take over lol. This seems to work well for me.
I've completely changed my diet, no more living on takeaways, all fresh and healthy foods. I allow myself a sunday to eat what i want, but these last few i've not missed any of the junk food so havn't bothered.
I also started walking 3-5 nights per week for an hour, I've not quite braved joining a gym yet though lol
Heres a before and after
Now i cant wait for the next few months to go so i can compare another pic
Comments welcome.
