Before, between and approaching the end..

I was actually 30 pounds heavier than the first picture but don't have one to show. I have lost around 110 in total and the final picture was me yesterday. Around 42 to go depending on how I feel. I started my journey after my first love broke my heart :/ I thought "I'll show him". Sadly I've not had a chance to show him yet but I don't really care any more :)

This has been purely exercise related. I have lived in the gym, been on Saturday nights, Sunday mornings.. 6 days a week for 2+ hours a time. I will never go back to what I was.
Sorry about some not being rotated correctly I could not figure out how to do it.

Your change is amazing, you should be so proud of yourself. I need to get me to the gym! A huge well done to you. :)

Awesome job amazing transformation! Keep going and really show him ;) It can be great motivation. Only thing I'd say is hold onto to the reasons why your doing it for yourself and for life, or else when your happy with someone else it may start creeping up again (sadly speaking from personal experience. I swore I'd never be fat again I felt so serious about it. Don't know how I lost that fire).

When did you start your journey?

Thanks everyone. I'm still going strong. Did a 15 mile bike ride tonight and burnt 950 calories in the process. I was chuffed. Realistically I need to lose 35 more pounds or so.

I started April 29th 2011. Royal wedding day ;) I understand what you are saying but I stopped caring about him and his opinion about 4 stones ago! My mum passed away not long ago, unexpectedly and due to lung problems and obesity. This has obviously fuelled my fire too.

We all think we are untouchable but we aren't. I think everyone should try and be as healthy as they can be, it will probably contribute to a longer and better life. Don't get me wrong.. I still enjoy treats and I eat too many cheese sandwiches, but I exercise it all off. My weight loss works out at only one pound a week, which is fine. Slow is good as there have been periods such as Christmas and birthdays when I have not gone to the gym and eaten billions of calories and I've either stayed the same weight or lost it!

Good luck to everyone trying
