It doesn't look like you have anything to be embarrassed about by the second picture. You carry your weight amazingly well at your height. The differences between the two pictures are astounding. A lot of hard work has been paying off. Really good job :).
 
Whoa...big change! You look great! All of these people losing the weight really keeps me motivated..I'm on my first week and second day of my change of healthy lifestyle/exercise.

Question:
1) When you first started out, did you do 2 hours of cardio? What type of exercise was it? Because right now I try to jog about a mile a day, I'm 236.5 lbs, I'm doing the couch to 5k program. It's 60 seconds of jogging/90 second rest intervals. However, its tough because a little over halfway through it the front of my ankles (my shins) are killing me to the point I can barely walk. The pain usually goes away after about 20-30 minutes, it would be so much easier if I didn't have this pain when I was jogging. Did you have this problem too when you started out?

When I first started out, I did 30 minutes of cardio. Then I worked my way to 60, then 90, then 120. Ive worked out for 3 hours here and there before as well, but not all the time.

I did The elliptical at first then added the bike in and did that for a long time. Now I do almost all of my workout on the elliptical, sometimes adding in the treadmill but I always do the elliptical longer.

how many inches did u lose overall? do u lose inches before the weight actually starts to come off? how many inches and lbs do u lose roughly in a month? I just started started off my diet and exercise on 24th July, I'm down 4lbs but i think thats water weight or something. I was 167lbs and now i'm 163lbs in about 2 and half weeks. My goal is 115 and I'm 5.3''. I eat alot of fruits and veggies and sometimes corn or beans i'm staying clear of non-veg for a bit and i also work out 6 days a week 2 hrs a day. cardio all 6 days and weights and cardio 4 out of 6 days. how long do u think it will it take to reach my goal?
 
oh my gosh thats impressive!!! great work!!! dont be embarrassed about the first pic.. it jus shows how much motivation and will power you've got to achieve what you have!!!... keep it up
