April Update: Before and In-Between, 30 lbs lost

After 2 months of rigorous exercising, cutting out most snacks and fast foods as well as soft drinks, and trying to improve my life overall, I've lost roughly 25 pounds, 2-4 jean sizes and I feel a lot better. (y)

Started at around 260lbs at 6 foot tall, and I'm now 235-237 and 6 foot 1. Here's the pics:

Before, January (260 lbs):

In between, April (228 lbs):

Still got a long way to go, but this is like my 1/3 milestone.

Excuse the random stuff in the background (HP poster and random Bicardi bottle); I was cool enough to go to buy the 7th Harry Potter book at midnight and got a free poster. It doesn't really win over the ladies, but it asserts my authority as a British person living in America. :patriot:

Thanks for all the help and support.

Edit; Here's a pic from sometime before 2008, at 6 foot weighing somewhere around 260 lbs, the highest I've weighed:

And here I am today, March 19th 2008, weighing around 232 lbs at 6 foot 1:

Big change and you look great! BTW there are plenty of girls who can still be won over by Harry Potter posters ;) :p

It's really encouraging for me to see how your stretch marks have faded too, that was one of my biggest worries about losing weight and it's nice to see those kinds of results.

Wow, it's amazing what a couple of months can do. Keep up the awesome work.

Yeah, stretch marks used to worry me as well, but they just started disappearing as soon as I started to lose weight. You can't see them in those pics, but there was tons of them on my sides and back as well that aren't there now.

Also, I've been using this cream that tones and firms your skin apparently. My sister told me to either use that, or Cocoa Butter, and both work just as well. No more ugly marks :)

Yeah, I can only imagine what I'll be like in another 2 months. :D

Thanks for all the kind comments!

You should see my sister's metabolism she's like 120 pounds and eats 2 Big Mac meals in one sitting. :puke: There's a bit left of the stretch marks, but I'm hoping to tackle those by May. ;D

Great Job man! Keep up the hard work, and you will definitely see the results you want.

Cheers, will do!

Thanks very much!

Great job! You are very inspiring. I got to the gym this morning, that is big for me!!

:D I wish I had the courage to gym it up, but my body is a mere shadow of my former buff-ness; though I have to say after moving to America, the country does have some damn tasty foods. :blush5:

Thanks for all the comments and support, I'll hopefully be updating this every month with pictures!

Yeah that was basically my mentality when I started 2 months ago: that I might regret it if I started later in life. Thanks for the positive comment and motivations mate!

I'll update this with my March loss (not that much because I just started a job) at the end of the month.

Thanks for all the comments!

Great progress and you are doing the right thing by dealing with it so young. I noticed in your profile you like boxing - I do the same and you will see a difference there as you get closer to your goal.
