Before and Finally After

It great to finally see some more pictures! I've been seeing your weight plummeting in the "Hotties in 2008" thread everytime I go to update. Fantastic work...I have to say that I am very jealous!

ktgirl- tanks for answering my last question. I was wondering if you could tell me a little about your diet and exercise plan? I'm just curious to know what you did and maybe get a couple of pointers.

Well I eat basically what I want as long as I can fit it into my daily calories, whenever I noticed a stall in my weight loss I upped my calories for a few days and that seemed to kickstart it back up.

For exercise I started at curves for 4 months, it was a good starting point but it got too easy too fast, so I went to a regular gym. I seriously slacked off on gym time for a few months but I was still counting calories so I was still loosing. I recently started going to the gym again and am doing 30 mins cardio and about 40 mins weight training 3 days a week (the weight training is pretty intense).

OMG!! You are such an inspiration!!! Thank you for posting your pics! You have really transformed! Congratulations! I am sure the last four pounds will come off soon!! :) Even if they don't you look amazing!

You look great! I remember when you first posted the very first pic. My what a difference. I can now see that I CAN get to 125-130 just like you! Im 10-15lbs off...I want to be there sooo bad. Thank you for posting pics! You should post more pics of now. You look 10 years YOUNGER! :hurray:

I haven't posted in a while and since I am only 4lbs away from my goal weight I figured it was time for an update. I have recently changed my workout from a lot of cardio and some weight training to a lot of weight training and some cardio lol. Hoping to make everything nice and tight again. The last 4 lbs may be here to stay, since I have stayed at the same weight for about a month, my body may be telling me that enough is enough.

I achieved these results but counting calories and exercise, it took me 1 year to do.

And no my hair did not grow that fast, The last picture was at a friend's wedding and I wore a hairpiece to make it longer in the back.

OMG, you look great! Dead sexy!

I only just saw this thread, and I have to say....WOW! You look fab! You must be really proud of yourself!!!
Definitely a good example that you really can reach everything if you want, congrats!!! :hurray:

My sister in-law just had a baby and she is about the size of your first pic.. Anything helpful I can tell her? I tell her of my 55lbs lost, and she says (it's because I was a guy and didn't have kids which made it easier for me) ect ect..

I don't have experience with post baby weight, but one thing that you can tell her is that she CAN do it and the hardest part for me was the first month. It was hard to adapt to not being able to just munch out on bad (but tastes sooo good) food whenever I wanted. After the first 3 weeks- 1 month it became much easier. The trick for me was in finding those 100 calorie packs. They are more expensive but better portion control for me (If I open a big bag of chips I can eat it all before I realized how much I have eaten. When people were eating junk around me I used to tell them how much calories they were eating, they found it irritating but at the same time, it stopped me from eating it. There are things now that I just won't eat (but used to love). It may be easier for guys to loose weight but remember the last winner on biggest looser was a girl!

Well, I do have experience(3 times) with baby weight and then carrying it for another 4 years after the last one. Honestly, her attitude probably has a lot to do with being overwhelmed with the care of an infant and not knowing how she will fit in anything else. Many of us when we become moms tend to forgo our own well-being in the interest of our children. I think that's a bit of a biological imperative, but part of being well for your kids IS taking care of yourself. I missed out on a lot of fun with my children, particularly the oldest when she was younger, because I was just too fat and lethargic to ever do anything fun.

All I can impart having experienced it is that it will get worse if you neglect it! If I had lost the weight after my first, I would have been dealing with about 50 lbs, instead I waited and waited and dealt with about 130 total by the time all is said and done and I'm about 70 lbs into that loss now after 8 months and just now getting close to what I would have had to lose if I had started after baby #1. She was pregnant for 9 months! Imagine what she could do in 9 months. That's another perspective to offer. And I'd remind her she wouldn't be the first woman after children to lose weight or get in shape successfully. It can be done. I do find a bit of resistence compared to when I was younger and had not been pregnant yet, but not enough to make it exasperatingly harder.

Think about it though--we were all resistant to that first step and made excuses. I think each person needs to have their own epiphany before it finally hits. We all have different triggers for ours.

two words....holy shit! you look freaking amazing. congrats on how far you have come and thank you for sharing your journey because it really helps renew my belief that I too can do this!!!

wow what a transformation!

Ill be completely honest, even if the heavier pics you still look great, big or small your still beautiful!
