UPDATE 2011 119pounds and Had my Tummy Tuck

Ok So I lost 60 pounds I went from 185 to 125 pounds at 5'4"..... I have pics of my backside, I am not posting up pics of my front yet because after having twins and losing 60 pounds your stomach is not exactly pretty so I actually have a tummy tuck scheduled for June of this year so hopefully I can finally be happy! I went from a size 14/16 to now a size 3/5. I am hoping to lose at least 10 more pounds before the tummy tuck....

Ok I can not believe I am actually going to do this but........Here is a pic of me about 8 months pregnant with twins weighing about 200 pounds....after having the twins I lost 39 pounds in one day....I went from 204 to 165 pounds.....then gained about 20 pounds over 8 months.....now I have lost 60 pounds and it left me with an unattractive stomach with loose skin which I am posting a pic so you have an idea of what I am talking about.

So as you can tell I am not happy with my stomach but I am happy that I lost 60 pounds and I thank everyone on here who has shared their story and pictures because I got all of my motivation from this site!

(Ok so I am trying to post up a pic of my tummy now but it wont let me so maybe it will at another time.)

****UPDATE 2011**** Wow down to 119! I had my tummy tuck and I feel great! I plan on losing a few more pounds and do some more toning! I am so proud of myself....and to those who said the tummy tuck was a way for the plastic surgeon to make money and did not need it...I hope you can see from the pictures it was the only way to get my stomach flat...no amount of exercise or diet will take away loose skin from me I am a woman that had twins and lost 60 pounds! The 2nd pic is before tummy tuck....the 3rd pic is my beach pic from 2008 and the other is my new beach pic 2011 of course after my tuck....

Thank you. I would eat around 1200 calories a day and walked/ ran 30 mins to an hour everyday and did light weight lifting 3 times a week for about 30 mins intervals. Drank only water, unsweet tea and sometimes diet soda. Occasionally I would cheat on the weekends but would always get right back to it. :)

Thank you so much. It took me awhile I would say around a total of 6-9 months. (not really sure) But I have maintained my weight for about 6 months already.
I might get brave enough to put a before pic of the front, its not that my stomach is big it is just loose...The doctor told me no matter how much exercise I did that the loose skin would not go away unless it got cut.

I am pretty sure that is the doctors way of earning some money. Look at Jamie Preseley after kids for christs sake. shes got it going on

I read somewhere it can take up to seven years for dramatically loose skin to shrink back. If you're getting a tummy tuck be sure you're done with having kids. I couldn't imagine having two tummy tucks.

Yes she does have it going on....unfortunately I was not one of the lucky women who has a pretty stomach after children. When I went in to have my twins I was 205 pounds with a very severe stretched stomach and stretch marks. I know several women with 4 or more children who went right back to wearing bikinis after birth....Dont think I have not done months of sit ups and crunchs but with seperated muscles it just is not going to happen.

Thank you so much!!! It would had not been possible without my tummy tuck but I felt I worked hard to lose 60 pounds so I deserved it! It was my present I bought myself! Answering the question from a long time ago....I have 4 kids and I had a tubal so no I will not be having anymore kids or at least I hope not!

you are a yummy mommy ;)
Seriously well done on getting back in to shape and also well done for having the courage to show your before and after pics. It is amazing what those surgeons can do these days. I am against cosmetic surgery for silly things but in your case you had obviously put in lots of effort and got marvelous results and just wanted the extra lil bit at the end. I am sure if there was a way to naturally achieve the results you wanted you would have gone that route.

You are an inspiration :)

@Alta818-Thank you soooooo much! @ForRealThisTime-Thank you also! You are right if I could have achieved the flat stomach on my own, I would have not had the surgery because I am cheap skate LOL and would have rather kept that money in my bank account. I kept my weight off for a year before having the surgery because I wanted to make sure I could maintain it and I did several ab workouts with no results because I had seperated muscles(diastasis recti) which are now sewed back together. @graydragon10--Thank you so much also and thanks for looking at my pics!
