Before - a few years ago - at 320 lbs
I dropped from 320 to 176 and started working out, eventually came back up to 210 and have held it there for awhile. Constantly getting stronger and better!

and here I am now...

I found this board while looking for forums about the master cleanse, and I have never posted before and afters anywhere, so I thought this might be the place to do it.
Anyhow, that's 5 years of hard work :)
I run 30-40k a week now, and exercise 4-5 times a week at the gym and watch my diet very carefully. I really love the way my body is now, and work hard to always improve.
Good luck to anyone else trying to lose weight, it's not easy, but it's definitely rewarding.

Great job! ;) Congratuations! :D

Did u eat any nut and seeds while you were on your weight loss journey

Not as far as I can remember... I'm not a big fan of nuts or seeds. I do enjoy a bit of natural peanut butter thrown into a nice stirfry, but I try to steer clear of it.
A typical day for me right now is:
Wake up and drink 2 glasses of water
Quick rinse in the shower and off to the gym for a 4 mi run on the treadmill... I keep trying to beat my last time, and I'm down to 27:53 @ 3.0% grade.
15 minutes of stretching and then a bunch of ab work.
Run home, and drink a coffee and eat a bowl of high fiber cereal. - more water
Lunch is typically a sandwich of some sort, or my favourite salad - imitation crab, 1/2 avocado and the bagged iceberg garden salad with a nice vinaigrette dressing...
I'll usually snack on some carrots or pickles if I get hungry during the day...

Around 6pm it's back to the gym again to do weights with my training partner
Drink water & 30g scoop of protein and I'm usually there for 60-90 minutes -
Home again and another protein shake and then dinner usually consists of a full chicken breast and something else... sometimes I chop it up and make a stir fry, or other times it's a chicken wrap or something like that... veggies and chicken is the basis for it. Occasionally I'll have a nice big steak too.
After that, it's off to work and home by 3am. By the way, I work as a DJ at a nightclub, so I only work 3 nights a week, for 3 hours a night, so it allows me alot of time to focus on fitness... however, it's not so good if I'm trying to maintain a strict diet and avoid alcohol and young girls :D
I'll usually drink a few glasses of cranberry juice mixed with water, or the occasional red bull if I'm feeling tired while I'm at work.

- I split my workouts like this:
Day 1 - Chest & Back Supersets
Day 2 - Biceps & Triceps Supersets
Day 3 - Legs (Squats, lunges, deadlifts, leg extensions, leg curls, calf raises, and whatever else I feel)
Day 4 - Cardio & Shoulders
Day 5 - Rest
Days 6 - Biceps and Back
Day 7 - Chest, Shoulders and Triceps
Day 8 - Legs again
Day 9 - Rest, no exercise, eat whatever I want and play video games in my underwear all day.

I also run 10k every sunday afternoon... and occasionally will head out for a run after work... running at 3am is beautiful in my city... running along the ocean in a quiet city is sublime.
I know this all sounds a little bit crazy, especially for those of you just starting out, but after you get into it, your body gets used to moving and you end up feeling the need to get out, and eat healthy, because you know how good you'll feel afterwards. The attention you start to receive from others becomes a huge motivator as well!
Hope this helped, and thanks for all the comments!

PS - I live in Canada, and I just went on a vacation to Disneyland... is there NOWHERE to find healthy food in the U.S.? Even my breakfast burrito came with a muffin and was full of pot roast! I gave up and started buying fruit and vegetables at 7-11! Also - the turkey legs in Disneyland are WICKED.

visit 1 someday! Congrats again,Tammy:)

You are my HERO

Absolutely amazing! You look awesome and I'm sure you feel even better!

I agree with so much! I crave veggies to no end and I haven't once wanted junk since I've started. The exercise has been the biggest difference, it's the feeling I get when I've finished.. the knowing I did it and wanting to see what I can do next. I finally did 20 miles on the stationary bike in under 60minutes today! :) No other feeling quite like it and I always hated exercise (so much that I just never did any)!

Thanks for sharing your information and good luck with everything!

-Angel
